Phaedra Parks Says RHOA S16 Shakeup Was ‘Definitely a Good Thing’

Phaedra Parks opens up about possibly returning to RHOA

Phaedra Parks tells RHOA fans that Bravo’s season 16 cast shakeup was “definitely a good thing” and admits the cast has some “firecrackers.”

Phaedra Parks is excited about her return to the Real Housewives of Atlanta for season 16. The returning RHOA star assures Bravo fans that the cast shakeup was worth it.

“We’ve got some new ladies that are just firecrackers,” she told Page Six on Tuesday night.

“They shook up the cast, but it’s definitely … it’s a good thing, it’s a good thing! I think people are really going to enjoy it.”

Phaedra admitted she had a “wonderful time” reuniting with co-stars Porsha Williams and Cynthia Bailey, who are returning for season 16 as a full-time cast member and a friend of Housewives.

“I mean, the gumbo is gumbo-ing again,” the 50-year-old teased. “So the Titanic, honey, it’s the love boat, now. It’s coming back up.”

In addition to the familiar faces, season 16 will introduce Kelli Ferrell, Brittany Eady, and Angela Oakley as full-time cast members. Shamea Morton, who previously appeared in the franchise as a friend, has been upgraded to a full-time cast member.

Phaedra confirmed her return to the Real Housewives of Atlanta in July after a six-season absence.

“You called. I answered #RHOA #S16,” she wrote via Instagram at the time, alongsiode a photo of herself holding the Atlanta Housewives franchise’s signature peach.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta is expected to return for season 16 in late 2024.

“So the Titanic, honey, it’s the love boat, now. It’s coming back up.” I hate to tell you this girlfriend, but while your enthusiasm is commendable, that ship has sailed (and sunk). The Titanic is never going to see the surface again.

My girls were Kenya and Kandi. Never liked Phaedra, and only put up with Porscha. Easy to let go of this one.
