Vanderpump Rules stars Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney have been sued over a business venture connected to their sandwich shop, Something About Her.
TMZ reports that Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney are accused of “reneging on a business agreement” in a new lawsuit.
Penny Davidi Borsuk, who filed the lawsuit against the Vanderpump Rules stars, alleges that Ariana and Katie “failed to uphold their end of the agreement when she took on the role of COO/Director of Culinary” at their West Hollywood sandwich shop.
According to Penny, back in June 2023, she was promised a 10% stake in Something About Her if she helped develop and operate the sandwich shop.

She claims that because of this, she performed “substantial work,” including filing trademarks for the company to bring Ariana and Katie’s dream sandwich shop to life.
Bravo viewers may recognize Penny, a good friend of Lisa Vanderpump, as she appeared at the many sandwich tastings on Vanderpump Rules. Penny alleges that she was supposed to be paid $7,500 a month until January when her rate was set to increase to $10k a month.

However, she says that Ariana and Katie have since “denied the existence” of their partnership, but she claims to have plenty of evidence to back up her allegations.
Penny wants a judge to “uphold the terms of the agreement and ensure that she’s properly paid for the work she did.”
Something About Her officially opened its doors on May 22.

I do NOT understand the name. That's what you name a lingerie shop. I don't even get what it refers to? How does "Something about her" refer to sandwiches? Hell, I can even see a bistro with French cuisine, or a coffee shop with little handcrafted doodads for sale. But a fucking sandwich shop?? Am I supposed to think of a woman when I'm eating a hot grilled cheese? Ick.
1) A stupid hokey name for a sandwich shop to begin with.
2) Restaurants have the highest failure rate of all new businesses.
3) Worthwhile profit is unattainable with WeHo's insane rent$ (just ask the Todds).
4) Biden's terrible economy and historically high interest rates.
5) Gruesome Newsom's CA policies that are suffocating small businesses
….. the list goes on an on. These grifters will be out of business by the end of the year.
If they did the chef dirty then that’s what they get .
How many lawsuits is Ariana now a party to because she fails to live up to her part of a bargain? Not to mention how many times she has broken promises.
Uuuhhh .. shoulda gotten those "promises" on paper like in the form of a contract, maybe.
Exactly, No signature, no promise. The woman were right to not trust LVP's "friend". Ariana will win this lawsuit too.
