Tamra Judge agrees with RHOC co-stars that Shannon Beador “needs to go to rehab” after her arrest for DUI.
Tamra Judge tells Page Six that she agrees with her Real Housewives of Orange County co-stars who believe Shannon Beador should have gone to rehab following her DUI arrest in September 2023.
“I do think she needs to go to rehab,” Tamra said on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, echoing co-stars Emily Simpson and Gina Kirschenheiter, who shared similar statements on the RHOC season 18 premiere.
“But I do think that she needs to acknowledge the fact that she needs to go to rehab. She can’t just go because people are telling her to go,” she continued. “She has to go because she wants to stop drinking.”
The 56-year-old reality star then revealed that she doesn’t believe that Shannon Beador has “hit rock bottom yet,” which is why she is avoiding seeking professional help for her drinking.
“I don’t think she’s willing to [go to rehab],” Tamra said.
Tamra and Shannon clashed while filming season 18 of RHOC, with many of their arguments being about Shannon’s continued drinking following her September 2023 DUI.
In the RHOC season 18 premiere episode, Shannon claims that post DUI, she only allows herself two alcoholic beverages per outing.
However, Tamra doesn’t believe the change in Shannon’s consumption of alcohol has benefited her at all.
“You can’t [be] somebody that has a drinking problem and say, ‘Well, I’ll just have two,’” she said. “It doesn’t work like that.”

Hopefully Shannon doesn’t hurt or kill someone, including herself, before she realizes what a serious drinking problem she has.

I'd ask Tamra, What she knows about rehab to speak on rehab. If she has no knowledge on the programs then sit-down. Tamra and the other women are just creating empty sound bites for screen time seconds. Shannon understands karma much better now.

Literally was going to say who do these people think they are Diagnosing or stating publicly one needs rehab ??so damaging . She already had to deal with her consequences of what happened and I’m sure her daughters do not appreciate old bff Tamra saying these things . Maybe Shannon should call Sydney and ask her if she thinks her mom needs a therapist ???
Exactly. And maybe Shannon IS an alcoholic. Im not saying she isnt, but she’s already completed an outpatient program. Inpatient or outpatient is no guarantee of any success, and in fact, the success rate is abysmally low in reality. So, who are these so called ‘friends’ to dictate what Shannon should do? It seems the goal here is not to help Shannon but to bully and humiliate her for clicks, storylines and to exalt themselves above her as if their own relationships with alcohol are ALL above reproach. Yeah, I don’t think so…?

I think they ALL need some form of rehab…but it wouldn't hurt Shannon. They all drink way too much.
