Luann de Lesseps is “hurt” by Bethenny Frankel’s dishonest reunion video on social media and says she’s still blocked.
Real Housewives of New York OGs Luann de Lesseps and Bethenny Frankel aren’t on good terms despite their reunion over the weekend.
“After watching Bethenny’s video and still being blocked by her on social media, I realize she just used her daughter to get to me,” Luann told Us Weekly about how there “wasn’t a genuine reconnection” with Bethenny.
Luann admitted that she was initially “really happy” to see the Skinnygirl mogul before realizing their reunion was insincere.
“To watch the video, it hurt my feelings,” she added.
The former Real Housewives of New York stars reunited in the Hamptons at talent agent Jason Weinberg’s Saturday, July 6, party.
Bethenny shared a video of her 14-year-old daughter, Bryn Hoppy, posing with the Countess at the party.
The Skinnygirl mogul later shared more insight into her reunion with Luann on TikTok.
“So I see Luann [at the event] and Bryn gets all devious. My friend Mark is like, ‘Just say something.’ Why not, right? And it is also a good example for Bryn. We have to be good examples,” Bethenny explained via TikTok on Sunday, July 7. “I basically said, ‘Congratulations’ and Bryn is there which is great because she bridged my relationship with my mom.”
She then confirmed that Luann had a sweet moment with her daughter.
“Luann hugged Bryn. We had to do it on social media because if it didn’t happen there then it didn’t happen anywhere,” she continued. “That was nice and clean. She texted me and [wrote], ‘We are like some discombobulated family.’ So that was pleasant and fun.”

Oh LuAnn shut up! Bethenny didn't fake a reunion any more than you did. What's really horrifying is Bethenny eating that shrimp and talking non-stop. Love her manicure though!
I thought she was deathly allergic to seafood.
Just regular fish, not shellfish. I know, I know but it is an actual thing. Some people can eat fish but are allergic to shellfish and some the reverse. Then, I assume there are those allergic to both.

I thought Bethenny was FOS when she first started on and on about this ( cuz she was kinda obnoxious about it at times), so I looked it up. I did feel bad about rolling my eyes at her over it, but I’m sure I don’t have to explain to you how overbearing that woman can be, so that is my defense, inadequate though it may be. ????

Bethenny lives her entire life on SM, and I do enjoy her content, but must she stuff her face while she films? When we have to start listening to her tinkle hitting the water, I'm out.

From what I gather, they never really fully recovered from their squabbles on the show, and then when Bethenny abruptly quit (the second time) and w/out any warning, Luann (and Ramona) were particularly annoyed. Then it got worse when Lu started publicly criticizing Bethenny's "Reality Reckoning", claiming she was biting the hand that fed her.

I’m team Bethenny on that one. Her paying for Lu’s legal bills during that crazy time in Lu’s life about said it all.
Agree. But Bethenny really went after Lu bad in the Berkshires before all that. Not easy to forget.
I agree …and even worse, it felt so unwarranted (for most of us). For what it’s worth, Bethenny is STILL apologizing for it today.
