RHONJ: Details on the Season 14 Reunion Alternative Emerge

New details about Bravo’s plan to conclude on season 14 of RHONJ emerge after the network scrapped plans for a formal reunion sit down.

RHONJ Obsessed reveals that on July 15th, the RHONJ cast will film their “alternative” season 14 reunion.

The special will not be a formal sit down with Andy Cohen but instead will feature the RHONJ cast watching and discussing the season 14 finale episode.

“On July 15th, the alternative reunion will be filmed! The two sides will watch the finale scene at Rails separately and provide commentary,” RHONJ Obsessed reports.

Last month, AllAboutTRH revealed that Bravo had officially canceled the RHONJ season 14 reunion amid the growing divide among the cast.

The cancelation comes as the hit Bravo show has drastically declined in ratings in the last four episodes. Our inside sources reveal why this decision was made, saying, “The reunion is all about resolution, and there is so much divide amongst the cast that Bravo feels like they would be wasting everyone’s time filming a reunion that would mirror season 13’s reunion.”

“Sadly, the cast have been so divided with many refusing to film with each other that Bravo thinks it best to take a long pause on Jersey,” our inside source admits.

Our sources reveal that all of the ladies are in complete shock and are worried that they will be fired.

Since then, Andy Cohen has hinted that Bravo is considering rebooting the New Jersey Housewives franchise, which currently stars Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Rachel Fuda, Dolores Catania, Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin, Jackie Goldschneider, Danielle Cabral and Jennifer Fessler.

“Some things take time, and we want to take a minute to figure things out,” Andy admitted on the June 4 episode of SiriusXM’s Reality Checked podcast. “There’s no point in rushing into something just to rush into something.”

“I just think that there’s a supreme level of kind of distrust amongst the cast with each other,” he added, “and that’s never healthy in terms of trying to make a great television show.”

Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Sundays at 8 pm on Bravo.

Every time I read that the reunions are meant for "resolution," I just laugh. Resolution? What? For a day - if lucky? True resolution would mean onward and upward, which, in turn, would mean no more fun for Bravo. Let's be honest here: The reunions are meant to stir and serve up more drama and bring people back for the next season. Stop with the resolution BS.

Same, RHOA will not be getting a better ReBOOT. It's like BRAVO can't repeat the HW bench, that they started with OC. First NY sinks, then ATL, now NJ. So sad.

This set up might be more interesting than the reunion anyway cuz they always build up these reunions way more than they deliver. Rarely (if ever) do they deliver more than they build up. Though I’m sure Bravo will find a way to over promise with this set up too because Bravo ?. Always finding new and innovative ways to sh*t the bed… ? ? ?
