RHONJ’s Jennifer Fessler is backtracking after Margaret Josephs and Rachel Fuda criticized her conversation with Teresa Giudice.
So far, during season 14 of RHONJ, Jennifer Fessler has found herself in an awkward position with close friends Margaret Josephs and Rachel Fuda.
In the most recent episode of RHONJ, Margaret and Rachel called out Jenn for communicating with their enemy, Teresa Giudice.
Marge and Rach took issue with Jenn sitting down with Teresa becuase they believe her husband, Louie Ruelas, had the RHONJ cast investigated.
At the time, Jenn defended her actions and insisted she wasn’t pledging blind allegince to Margaret and Rachel, telling them: “I ain’t your solider. I’ve got you, but I’m not gonna be you.”
However, now, she’s singing a different tune in an effort to save face with Margaret Josephs.
“What happened was– and I think the first episode, maybe you saw me saying to Margaret, you know, ‘I told you that if you don’t want to be around these people again, neither will I…’ and what I meant by that was, if you’re not gonna go back and do the show again, then I’m not going to go back and do the show again,” Jenn explains to Entertainment Tonight.
“Margaret, as you know, went back and did the show again, and so here I am,” she continues. “I didn’t say I would never be around Louie, or talk to Louie and Teresa again.”
As RHONJ fans know, Margaret cut ties with Teresa after her son, who has never appeared on the show, recieved a threatening phone call at his job. Margaret claims the call came from Louie, which he denies.
“I’m definitely learning some lessons this year,” Jenn confesses to ET. “To float in and to float right back out, and maybe not get quite as involved.”
When it comes to her sitdown with Teresa, Jenn says she had “good intentions” and wanted to “clarify” some allegations that were going around. She also praised John Fuda and made it clear she 100% beleives Margaret’s claim that Louie called her son at his job.
“My intentions were always good,” she professes. “My intentions were to clarify some things, right? To talk to Teresa and make sure that it was out there that John Fuda is not a drug dealer, John Fuda is a fabulous father and a professional and responsible. So, I was actually sort of happy with that part of our conversation, even though Rachel and John would have preferred that I didn’t speak of them at all. Lesson learned.”
“I probably didn’t communicate this well, because I think that I’ve given the impression that I don’t believe Margaret, which is not the case,” she makes clear. “I do believe, Margaret. … The truth is, I do believe that Louie did call Margaret’s son.”
While Rachel and Jenn’s friendship fizzled after this drama, Jenn says she and Margaret remain “very, very close” and have a “deep bond.”
RHONJ airs on Sundays at 8 pm on Bravo.
