Monica Garcia can’t help but shocking the Bravoverse just by living her life. After announcing that she’s pregnant with her 5th child, the identity of the RHOSLC alums baby daddy has emerged.
Real Housewives of Salt Lake City alum Monica Garcia announced her pregnancy on The Viall Files podcast. Initially she seemed hesitant to speak on it before revealing that she is seven weeks pregnant.
She is already mom to Bri, 18, Jaidyn, 13, West, 7, and Kendall, 6, with her ex-husband Mike Fowler.
Monica Garcia stated that she hadn’t even told anyone about her pregnancy prior to coming on the podcast, “I literally just found out. I have not told one f**king person except for my best friend.”
“I literally went into urgent care for something totally unrelated that I thought was wrong, and the doctor came in and was like, ‘You’re pregnant. I’m like, ‘I’m 39! Like, there’s no way. I’m on birth control.’ By all means, I should not be pregnant.”
“I thought I was done. I think being so much older and having a baby is, like, really freaking me out. Also my youngest is 6. I thought I was done. It’s like, it’s so much.”
Monica then teased some information about her mystery man and baby daddy saying they have been dating for a year and that she met him during filming season 4 of RHOSLC.
“That is where Heather [Gay] and I shot our snowmobiling scene. So, that is when I met him. I was like, ‘Give me your phone.’ He handed me his phone and I put my name and number in there.”
While initially the name and details of who Monica’s baby daddy is remained unknown, he has since been identified as Braxton Knight, 29.
The Daily Mail reports that Braxton is father of Monica Garcia’s unborn child. The 29-year-old is an outdoor enthusiast. He currently works as the general manager of Wasatch Excursions in Utah.
Since announcing her pregnancy, Monica has received quite a bit of hate on social media. Some fans have questioned the RHOSLC alums ability to be a mother and whether or not she can financially raise another child.
Monica fired back at the concern over her latest pregnancy in a video Instagram. Alongside the video, she shared:
“Yes. I already have four girls. No. I was not planning on being 39 and going through the baby stage again, but unexpectedly here I am. For everyone making hateful comments and judging me as a mother, immediately deleted and blocked. I will not intake the negativity coming at me over a baby. To everyone else, THANK YOU.”
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City will return for season 5 in late 2024.
