Candiace Dillard is saying goodbye to RHOP after six seasons however she very well may “drive back” to Potomac in the near future.
On Monday, Candiace Dillard announced via PEOPLE that she is exiting the Real Housewives of Potomac after season 8.
“As I embark on a new chapter after six remarkable years with The Real Housewives of Potomac, I am filled with gratitude for the enriching friendships, personal growth and moments of introspection that have defined this journey,” Candiace Dillard said in a statement. ”With a whirlwind of new opportunities and responsibilities on my plate, I have decided to take a break from RHOP.”

The RHOP star went on to tease that her exit may only be temporary: “This is not a farewell, but a ‘see you later.’ “
She ended her statement by thanking Bravo fans for their support throughout the years: “Your unwavering support has been my guiding light, and I look forward to the exciting adventures that lie ahead — and more importantly, sharing them all with you!”
Candiace joined RHOP during season 3 and has since starred on the show as a full-time cast member, creating numerous notable moments.
In December 2023, the 37-year-old hinted at her departure from the Real Housewives of Potomac, telling ET that she had an exit strategy in place.

At the time, Candiace insisted that she had no plans to leave the Real Housewives of Potomac anytime soon but admitted to having an “exit strategy” for reality TV as her singing and acting careers take off.
“I have always had a plan,” she shared, adding, “Everything is a gift. All of this, like the music, the acting, Potomac — it’s all a bonus for me. None of it is something that I feel entitled to, and I would rather live that way than the other way.”
The Real Housewives of Potomac airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
