Whitney Rose and Lisa Barlow’s long standing feud is heating up while filming season 5 of RHOSLC. Get all the tea!
Since the season one premiere of RHOSLC in November of 2020, co-stars Whitney Rose and Lisa Barlow have been at odds.
While the two have attempted to work on their relationship and build a genuine friendship it seems that these two are not destined to be friends.
It’s unclear where the drama between Whitney and Lisa originated, in fact, it seems their issues began long before Bravo ever began filming season one of RHOSLC.
If you recall, during season one of RHOSLC, Whitney called out Lisa for looking down her and other cast members because they don’t adhere to her standard of Mormon living. Lisa denied the claims but Whitney insisted her claim was true.
Fast forward to season 4 of RHOSLC and the two were working on their strengthening their friendship after resolving to start fresh with each other the prior season.
However, the tension between Whitney and Lisa began to bubble over and eventually came to a head.
Tensions between the two flared because Lisa felt Whitney was not being honest with her while Whitney felt Lisa was being self-centered and not a genuine, caring friend.
Now, we learn that Whitney and Lisa’s feud is worsening as they film for season 5 of RHOSLC. The ladies of Salt Lake City are midway filming for season 5 and the drama is heating up.
A source tells The Zone that Whitney was overheard asking Heather Gay for support and to “back her up” as she battles it out with Lisa amid their ongoing feud.
Last month, Lisa vocalized her anger with Whitney over an appearance she made on Nick Viall’s Viall Files podcast.
Whitney dubbed Lisa a villain, claiming that Lisa will be the next villain on RHOSLC following Monica Garcia’s exit.
“We already have [Monica’s] replacement. She’s been here for four years. I guess, it’s not her replacement. We already have that persona: Lisa Barlow,” Whitney said. “Lisa’s already been the villain! You’re an iconic villain, Lisa. You’re a Salt Lake icon.”
Lisa wasn’t a fan of Whitney’s comment and text her after the podcast, vocalizing her unhappiness.
“I thought that was so weird that she was saying that and I literally sent her a text message and I’m like ‘I’m not your storyline season 5. That’s not happening.’ And she’s like ‘You’re not my [storyline].’ And I’m like ‘Keep healing,’ because I think she needs to keep healing,” Lisa shared.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City will return for season 5 in late 2024.
