The ladies of RHONJ are proving they have Andy Cohen’s back amid the ongoing allegations against the Bravo front man.
RHONJ stars Melissa Gorga, Dolores Catania, Margaret Josephs, and Rachel Fuda are speaking out in support of Andy Cohen following Leah McSweeney’s allegation that the Watch What Happens Live host “snorts cocaine” with his favorite Housewives.
To start, Melissa Gorga, who is one of the RHONJ stars who has known Andy Cohen the most following OG Teresa Giudice as she’s maintained a full-time spot on the New Jersey Housewives franchise since 2011, reflected on her professional dynamic with the WWHL host.
“His leadership style exemplifies authenticity. He prioritizes open communication and is very approachable,” the 45-year-old told Page Six. “Throughout my 14 years of working with Andy, I have witnessed nothing but respect, kindness, and support. I have never been offered any type of drug by him.”
“I am grateful to have had the opportunity to learn and grow under his guidance and share in his success.”
Rachel Fuda, who only joined RHONJ during season 13 in 2022, says Leah McSweeney’s take on Andy Cohen doesn’t resonate with her experiences with him.
“I’m new to this whole world. I’ve had a few interactions with Andy, and he’s been nothing but professional and kind. I don’t see a correlation between these allegations and his behavior and the way that he has treated me,” she said.
“He’s been very professional. We’ve had professional conversations. There’s been nothing inappropriate. And I just think that in life, we all have different experiences of things, and some are saltier than others.”
The 33-year-old Real Housewives newbie questioned Leah’s motives for legal action against Bravo and Andy Cohen, noting, “All of it kind of seems very calculated.”
“I’m not taking away the fact that that could have very well been her experience. But I just think, How long has she not been a ‘Housewife’ for?” she questioned, wondering why Leah was bringing out these allegations about Andy and Bravo when she’s not been a Housewife since 2020 at this point in time.
“I think if you’re entering a show like this, you need to be equipped with the toolbox to take on a beast like this,” she added of Leah’s claims that Bravo exploited her addiction issues. “You don’t walk into this and not know the nature of the beast. That’s my opinion. If you are recovering in any way, you need to have your s—t in order.”
On the other hand, Margaret Josephs was a little more direct in her defense of Andy. She point blank said he “has never offered any ‘Housewife’ cocaine.'”
She continued, “I am appalled that someone would just go so low to assassinate and target someone’s character in that way.”
Meanwhile, Dolores Cantia supported the Watch What Happens Live host on Instagram.
Dolores wrote “Agree” under Marysol Patton’s Instagram post about Andy which read: “@bravoandy who I have known personally and professionally since 2011. He has always been genuinely fair, loving, considerate, and always the consummate professional The greatest testament to his character was the way he treated my mother, an anomaly in the Bravo-verse. You are loved and appreciated.”
