Oops Tom Sandoval did it again! Get all the details on the Bravo star’s latest blunder!
Tom Sandoval is now apologizing after comparing Scandoval, his cheating scandal with Raquel Leviss, to other highly publicized moments in history including the murder of George Floyd and the OJ Simpson case.
While chatting with The New York Times about why he believes Scandoval got “so big” in the media, Tom Sandoval swiftly put his foot in his mouth while giving his take on it all.
The Vanderpump Rules OG said:
“I’m not a pop-culture historian really. But I witnessed the O.J. Simpson thing and George Floyd and all these big things, which is really weird to compare this to that, I think, but do you think in a weird way it’s a little bit the same?”
Naturally, the Bravoverse was up in arms over Tom Sandoval’s comment, but it turns out fans were the only ones upset. Several Bravo stars spoke out about Tom’s comments, including Real Housewives of Miami star, Guerdy Abraira.
Guerdy lashed out at Sandoval on her Instagram, saying, “PLEASE reflect on this repulsive statement you made (regarding GEORGE FLOYD r.i.p) especially on black history month and take it back!! NOT OK! An immediate apology is in order Sir!”
She added, “The disrespect…and on black history month…WOW just plz.”
Tom Sandoval’s Vanderpump Rules co-star, Katie Maloney also spoke out and suggested that her ex-husband Tom Schwartz come get his boy and stop him from putting his foot in his mouth any further.
“The f–k?” Katie commented under an Instagram post of Sandoval’s quote, adding, “Hey Tom Schwartz you wanna come explain what he was really trying to say?”
Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard star Jordan Emanuel also chimed in, writing, “Comparing slinging dick to a Black man being murdered in front of our eyes during Black History Month is something I just don’t have words for.”

Amid the backlash on social media, Tom Sandoval apologized in a statement on his Instagram Stories.
“My intentions behind the comments I made in New York Times Magazine were to explain the level of national media attention my affair received,” he wrote.
“The comparison was inappropriate and ignorant. I’m incredibly sorry and embarrassed.”
Vanderpump Rules airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
