Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay shuts down accusations that she made Scandoval all about herself when she wasn’t the true victim.
Scheana Shay can’t escape the narrative that she made Scandoval all about her despite it being her best friend, Ariana Madix, who was cheated on and betrayed.
Following Tuesday’s episode of Vanderpump Rules, Scheana Shay clapped back at claims she made Tom Sandoval‘s affair with Raquel Leviss all about her instead of realizing that Ariana was the true victim in the scenario.
On Twitter, one fan asked:
“@scheana – watching yourself back, do you find it to be insensitive making the Scandoval about you when your friend was the one that was going through the breakup/infidelity?”
The 38-year-old replied, “I was never making HER situation about me. There were also things that happened during then that directly affected me. TRO. Worries of getting served any day. Paps following me and kid/parked out of my house. Rumors about Brock etc. THAT was about me.”
Another Vanderpump Rules fan asked: “Scheana, Do you regret saying you could forgive [Raquel Leviss] for what she did to Ariana because it didn’t directly affect you?”
“That’s NOT what I said. I said ‘if the worst thing she did was fall in love w/ her bff’ (aka silently in her own head)…NOT have a 7 month affair!!” Scheana responded.
Despite Scheana’s claims that she NEVER made Scandoval all about herself, she has publicly stated how difficult the time period was for her and that she doesn’t think Ariana understands that at all.
Back in December, Scheana Shay insisted that Ariana Madix wasn’t the only victim in the fallout from Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss‘ eight-month-long affair.
According to the Pump Rules OG, her best friend Ariana will NEVER know how difficult Sandoval was on her as a person.
“I don’t know that Ariana will ever understand how hard this was on me personally because, yes, it didn’t happen to me. I wasn’t cheated on, but there was a lot that he did do personally to me,” the 38-year-old told Pump Rules executive producer and host of Bravo’s Hot Mic podcast, Alex Baskin.
She continued:
“I lost weight after the Scandal. I was in court after the scandal. I was fighting rumors online about my own husband to the scandal.”
The Pump Rules star explained that it’s been difficult for her to tell her story post-Scandoval since the scandal wasn’t about her, yet the drama directly affected her.
“I mean, it really did a number more for me, but I don’t think a lot of people realize. I Was the person next, mostly directed by all of this, but I’m not allowed to feel anything because it’s not about me, because it’s only about her. So me,[I’m] struggling with how can I tell my story while still keeping it about her because it’s not about me, but it kind of is about me.”
Vanderpump Rules airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
