Erika Jayne wants to see co-star Kyle Richards be “eviscerated” by Andy Cohen over Mauricio Umansky split at the RHOBH season 13 reunion.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne is ready for her longtime co-star Kyle Richards to be “eviscerated” at the season 13 reunion which films at the end of this week.
On the January 17 episode of Watch What Happens Live, Erika told Andy Cohen that she wanted Kyle to be grilled over her split from husband Mauricio Umansky at the RHOBH season 13 reunion.
“As somebody who got eviscerated, I would like to see everybody get the same treatment,” Erika told Andy. “I love her. She’s a dear friend of mine. But fair is fair.”
Andy was quite shocked by Erika’s eagerness to see Kyle in the hot seat at the RHOBH season 13 reunion. He quickly reminded Erika that when Kyle appeared on WWHL in October, she “answered every question” he asked her and Mauricio’s relationship and split.
The RHOBH star told Andy, “That’s good.”
While filming season 13 of RHOBH in early to mid-2023, Kyle admitted to her co-stars that things weren’t good in her marriage but didn’t divulge any further details.
However, things in Kyle and Mauricio’s relationship came to a head in July when reports surfaced that the RHOBH couple of nearly 30 years were separating. Initially, the two denied the claims but later confirmed that they were, in fact, separating.
Since then, both have been open about the fact that their marriage is struggling. The two are currently in therapy to work on their relationship and are not currently talking about “divorce,” but it seems highly likely that the two may end up splitting for good.
So, what are RHOBH fans saying about Erika’s comments? Well, opinions are mixed. Some Bravo fans think Kyle deserves to be raked over the coals at the reunion just like Erika was, but others think Kyle’s situation is a whole different ballgame than Erika’s split from Tom Girardi and his vast legal and financial issues.
“Those are very different circumstances when your spouse is accused of embezzling money from victims, and you are spending every last dime of it on a glam team trying to become a 50-year-old pop star versus a divorce of 20+ years,” one fan wrote.
A second fan noted, “No dear friend would want that for another.”
“The difference, my dear Erika, is Kyle & Mo stuff is between them. You & your husband’s stuff affected people and their lives. People who lost family members and almost lost their own lives. Cheating and committing felonies and stealing millions of dollars don’t compare,” a third fan shared.
A fourth commented: “I agree. If the messenger might be wrong, the message is still right. Kyle always sits next to Andy at every single reunion since the first season, but she’s never been in the hot seat and is never given the super tough and intense questions. “
“Sure, fair is fair, but a true friend would know how shitty it felt and not want their friend to have to feel that way,” a fifth fan wrote, while another commented, “Eh, regardless if it happens to you, you should never want friends dealing with the same difficult time you had.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
