RHOBH alum Teddi Mellencamp claims LVP attempted to “produce” her off-camera & dishes on their short-lived reconciliation. Plus, so much more.
Teddi Mellencamp opened up about how Lisa Vanderpump allegedly attempted to “produce” her during season nine of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
On the December 7 episode of Teddi and Tamra Judge’s Two T’s in a Pod podcast, they welcomed Vanderpump Rules star Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval.
During the episode, the foursome discussed Teddi and LVP’s beef and their brief reconciliation at BravoCon.
To start, Teddi noted that LVP has “full control” over what airs on Vanderpump Rules. According to Teddi, LVP also tried to control the narrative on RHOBH by dictating her co-stars’ behavior on the show.
“There really wasn’t any beef. It was more just she was. Everybody knows she was trying to produce me off-camera, and then I brought it to life, and then once I brought it to life, everybody hated me, and she quit, so it became my fault,” Teddi explained. “I’m an a–hole, but I’m not really a faker.”
The RHOBH alum admitted that she and LVP made amends at BravoCon in November, but their reconciliation was short-lived due to LVP’s need to throw shade.
“We made up for eight minutes, and then she made fun of me and called me a bulldog the next day on the red carpet,” Teddi said. “We’re as good as you can be with anybody’s like, great aunt.”
Tom Schwartz then asked Teddi if she was as “thirty” to return to RHOBH as social media trolls would suggest.
“This is what I want the internet to know: I am so thirsty to make money. I will do anything to make money,” Teddi quipped. “I don’t give a sh-t if it’s on TV, a podcast, a freaking jog. I don’t care. If I’m making money doing it, I’m happy.”
She continued, “I want to be able to create a lifestyle for me and my kids and myself that I can do whatever I want, whenever I want to do it. For me, that’s freedom. When I first met my husband, he was in control financially, and I hated it. Yes, I’m gonna do this podcast. Yes, I’ll do this television show. Yes, I’ll do that. For me, that’s really what it’s about. And it doesn’t even offend me.”
However, Teddi made it clear she’d rather appear on a reality show like Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test than return to Real Housewives on Bravo. Tamra Judge noted that Teddi would have to do multiple reality shows to make what Bravo would pay her for RHOBH.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
