RHONJ OG Danielle Staub is spilling the tea on why she never exposed all of Melissa Gorga’s dirty deeds despite having lots of proof to do so.
Danielle Staub was the first person ever to bring up Teresa Giudice‘s family drama with her brother, Joe Gorga, and sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, on the Real Housewives of New Jersey.
On the RHONJ season two reunion, Danielle Staub infamously claimed that Teresa Giudice didn’t acknowledge the birth of her youngest nephew, Joey Gorga, or go to the hospital to see him following his arrival.
This claim enraged Teresa, who freaked out on Danielle. The mom of four screamed at Danielle: “DO NOT BRING UP MY FAMILY!” while pushing reunion host Andy Cohen in an effort to get to Danielle, who was sitting on the opposite reunion couch.
Danielle exited RHONJ after season two as Melissa Gorga and Kathy Wakile joined the RHONJ cast for season three. Upon her exit from RHONJ, Danielle claimed to have proof detailing her communication with Melissa during season two of RHONJ.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey villain claimed to have recorded phone calls, lengthy emails, and Facebook messages from Melissa about Teresa’s secrets and their family drama.
However, when Danielle eventually returned to the Real Housewives of New Jersey for seasons 8 through 10 as a friend of the Housewives, she failed to expose Melissa. Instead, Danielle became friendly with Melissa.
Now, years later, Danielle reveals why she never exposed Melissa when she had the chance on the Real Housewives of New Jersey.
In October, a Bravo fan account tweeted: “@DanielleStaub After you left, during S3-S7 you repeatedly discussed the lengthy emails + recorded calls you have on Melissa. So why, when you came back, did you befriend her and even briefly work with her Fraud PR Robyn (IlluminationPR)? WHY?? Why didn’t you expose her??”
Surprisingly, or perhaps not so surprisingly, Danielle replied and blamed Real Housewives of New Jersey producers who only gave her a limited role on the show with “no testimonials.”
“Because they brought me back in a limited role. They cut off testimonials, making unrealistic demands, so I had to play nice in order to collect my dues,” Danielle wrote on Twitter.
She continued:
“They tied my hands by bringing me back in a limited role offering NO TESTIMONIALS, dictating I help [Margaret Josephs] her 1st and then after [Jennifer Aydin] in her 1st season. I was told no when I asked to reveal, and in this role it restricted my ability to be my truest self. If I wanted to collect my dues, I had to play nice. I hope this helps bc you all deserve the truth! That’s mine.”
