RHONJ’s Joe Gorga Says He Was Scammed After Actor Brad Garrett Calls Him Out

RHONJ's Joe Gorga

RHONJ’s Joe Gorga admits to Las Vegas comedy show scam after actor Brad Garrett publicly called out the Bravo star.

On Tuesday night, Bravo star Joe Gorga got publicly called out by Everybody Loves Raymond actor Brad Garrett on Instagram.

A promo for Joe Gorga’s comedy show in Las Vegas was floating around social media when Brad Garrett caught wind of it.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey husband was set to headline a night of comedy at Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club in Las Vegas on Sunday, November 5th. The comedy event was to be hosted by Brad Garrett and feature special guest Frank Catania as well as comedian Jaclyn Marfuggi. Joe Gorga was promoting ticket sales on social media and even had a payment link in his Instagram bio.

However, it turns out this event is one BIG SCAM.

On Instagram, Brad Garrett called out Joe Gorga and insisted that this comedy show is NOT REAL.

“ALERT!! This is NOT AN ACTUAL Show at my club, and people are being scammed to buy tickets via a fake link,” Garrett said in his post on Instagram. “So @joeygorga, @jackynmarfuggi wtf?! No one knows who you folks are in the comedy world, nor are you working at my club. Remove these ads immediately. Geez. And @catchnewjersey has nothing to do with this as well.”

After Brad’s Instagram post began making its way around social media, Joe Gorga addressed the controversy on his Instagram Story and admitted his team had been duped.

The RHONJ husband said:

“Guys, this is regarding the comedy show. We’re here practicing for Magic Mike. And we just got the news. So someone reached out from Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club to my manager [and] set up a contract. It’s a complete scam. There was a ticket link. People bought tickets. Don’t worry, your money’s gonna get returned. “

Melissa Gorga interjected, “I can’t believe it. Like, so there was nobody from Brad Garrett’s comedy club? This was a complete scam. Everyone was scammed, you too.”

“I got scammed. I’m still in shock you. I couldn’t believe it,” Joe added. “But listen, it is what it is. Nobody got hurt, you know? Don’t worry. I will see you at BravoCon. Make sure you come to [the] Magic Mike Show. “

Joe Gorga and his rep insist the Bravo star had no idea the show was fake until they saw Brad Garrett’s Instagram post on Tuesday.

“It was coming from a fake Brad Garrett,” a rep for Gorga shared in a statement to Deadline. “Joe’s attorney was scammed. They even had signed contracts in place.”

The RHONJ star’s rep added that Joe “is very disappointed as he was looking forward to performing” and wants it to be known that “everyone who purchased tickets will be receiving their money back.”

Too bad Joe and people that work for him were scammed. However, maybe it will help him realize this is NOT the career for him, especially if/when he'll have to pay out of pocket to reimburse people, not to mention the cost of dealing with the debacle. If Luis wasn't involved in setting him up (which is possible), I bet he is thrilled as Teresa is.

Well that was embarrassing...

The irony is - this whole sh!tshow is probably funnier than the actual show. I strongly doubt claims of hacking, particularly from a man who struggles to keep on top of his bills.

I think it's funny af that Joe Gorga thought he was famous & funny enough to headline a show at BGCC...with BG hosting! ?? AND, with Frank Catania as a special guest! ?? You can't make this shiz up!

Who set up the initial contract and with who? By phone? When you work in special events and have never worked with a venue, site or organization before, you get past recommendations, people that can verify it goes smoothly, security is good, etc. so none of this happened???Fishy as all get up. Joe, might want to dot your I and cross your t if you are going to work events around the country. Can’t do it all online, pick up the phone and talk to people or you will be scammed many times.

The club owner even admitted they were all scammed. Everyone got their charges reversed.

What club owner? Brad Garrett is the OWNER of the club and he called out the lying scum that is little BBoy Gorga. And if the 3 turds, bboy, roid rage and the chihuahua got scammed , how can they return the money? Is that you Lysa Simpson?!

The credit card company is simply giving refunds. It's not the difficult. Relax killer.

Marce, Check above for the club owner's message who DID NOT call out Joe. The OWNER, Brad Garrett, realized Joe and the other person were scammed.

3.2.1...Countdown to who will be the first to blame this on Luis and Teresa, lol.
675309 November 1, 2023 - 1:51 pm
Not blaming but it would not be surprising!! Luis has the know how and the motive! Teresa has motive but not smart enough to pull it off, IMO!

I knew it would be you!!!!???

You probably think so, too, but admire him for pulling it off! Ha. I don't care because I think Joe is silly for trying to be a comedian so maybe it will wake him up.
