RHONJ’s Louie Ruelas scores legal victory as his “obsessed” ex-fiancée is denied a restraining order after “continuously bothering” him and his family.
Page Six reports that a New Jersey judge ruled in Louie Ruelas‘ favor in his legal case against his ex-fiancée Vanessa Reiser, who previously accused Teresa Giudice’s husband of “stalking.”
“The Court not only dismissed Ms. Reiser’s complaint and denied her application for a permanent restraining order, but also found that she was ‘obsessed’ with Mr. Ruelas, continuously bothering he and his family,” attorney Marco Laracca, who represented the RHONJ husband alongside co-counsel Christopher Errante, told the outlet on Friday, October 27.

“In essence, the court held that the filing of the restraining order was akin to a publicity stunt, ” Laracca adds. “Louie was completely vindicated today and looks forward to putting this all behind him. We thank the court for its lengthy, well-reasoned, and factually supported opinion.”
Meanwhile, Vanessa Reiser’s attorney, Douglas Anton, told Page Six that his client is “relieved” by the court’s findings.
“Our goal was always her protection by exposing the truth about Luis’s offensive conduct,” the celebrity attorney added.
“Indeed, for her protection, we were ‘obsessed’ with proving Luis did this invasive thing so that he never does it again. Vanessa feels completely vindicated and now protected by having outing him for this offensive conduct.”
Louie Ruelas and Vanessa Reiser dated from 2018 to 2020 before he began dating RHONJ star Teresa Giudice and ultimately married her in August 2022.

Earlier this year, the licensed therapist claimed that the RHONJ husband hired a private investigator to “spy” on her at work after a female client began probing her with questions about Louie during their sessions.
Some of the questions Vanessa was allegedly asked included: “Do you still love Luis?” “How was it with your abuser?” and “If [Ruelas] were to leave his wife [Giudice] and show any regret … would you want to be with him?.”
Now, Vanessa’s attorney, Douglas Anton, alleges that testimony was provided that “proved” Louie hired Bo Dietl to “collect” information.

It’s unclear if Vanessa was the target of Dietl’s alleged investigation. The former NYPD detective previously denied he had looked into any members of the RHONJ cast but declined to comment on whether or not Louie hired him to investigate his ex.
“As far as whether he hired us for potential private investigations, that’s confidentiality [sic],” Dietl said.
Anton alleges that Louie “gagged” witnesses and “hid behind” his Fifth Amendment to not “incriminate himself” while also giving the court “limited facts” which prevented them from issuing a fair ruling.
“While we stand firm that it was to harass, we shall have to wait for the truthful trial testimony of Bo Dietl’s and Luis’ agent on her criminal charges, for which probable cause by a judge has already been found,” Anton concludes. “Vanessa simply wants the whole truth to come out so that Luis stops.”
However, Attorney James Leonard Jr., who is Teresa’s longtime lawyer and is part of Louie’s legal team, told Page Six:
“We won, they lost. Period, that’s the end of it. The judge not only rejected their view of the case, she eviscerated it.”
Louie has “categorically” denied Vanessa’s claims about him over the years, which has forced him to fight off various nasty rumors about his character.
“Simply put, the court found that Vanessa Reiser was not credible, was not harassed by Mr. Ruelas, and is not the victim that she has unsuccessfully portrayed herself to be,” Leonard continued.
He added that the court “correctly” determined that Vanessa is “someone who has routinely and repeatedly violated court orders and has an insatiable obsession with Mr. Ruelas and Teresa Giudice that is fueled by a desire to promote herself, her business, and her false narratives at all costs.”

Surprise surprise.
It won’t be when it comes out in court that Luis hired Bo to provide an employee (Vanessa and her lawyer have her name) to find out if Vanessa would be interested in taking him back when he’s done with Teresa. He spent lots of money to do it, too! They wouldn’t have gotten caught if the Bo employee (or Bo or Luis) paid the last bill!
So Vanessa wasn’t granted a permanent restraining order – big deal? Luis has other charges pending.
If the other charges find him guilty, she’ll be able to get a restraining order and she should. (Some here didn’t read the whole article or are just in denial. Ha!)
Good for Luis & Tre! ?
Criminal charges are still pending and it is all because an employee of Bo’s, who was hired by Luis to find out if his ex-fiancee was still interested in him, pretended to be a patient to get info for Luis. This was back in February so within 6 months of marriage, he was checking out potential replacements. They wouldn’t have gotten caught but the fake patient didn’t pay the last bill and Vanessa had to track her down and found out she was an employee of Bo’s. Not a coincidence given that nut job bragged about hiring Bo to investigate all his Bravo co-workers. He backtracked yet never denied that he admitted hiring Bo because he had “death threats”. Well of course if that were actually true, the first place a PI would go is family and co-workers.
Granted, being a psychologist and having a planned wedding with Luis in early 2020, makes Vanessa’s emotional stability questionable (IMO) back when they were dating, engaged and planning a big wedding (scheduled for the same year he met Teresa!).
Good for Luis. His ex is a nut job. My question is how did he NOT know this when he was dating her??? Hopefully, this stalker will just go away. I guess many who have dated and then discovered that their ex partner is mentally ill wonder how they missed it in the first place. I think the saying that we only see what we want to see is true. Congratulations Teresa. Hope this is a load off your mind, girl!
Vanessa knew he was somewhat mentally ill and as a psychologist and someone in love (and apparently without common sense and an emotional mess before they canceled the wedding for a while), she thought she could fix him. When it didn’t work, she canceled the planned and scheduled wedding for early 2020. (It is all in a lawsuit against him in 2020.) He is the stalker by hiring Bo to have an employee pose as her patient in Feb. 2023 or prior to! That is why she wanted the restraining order. The case against him for doing that hasn’t been settled yet.
(What is so ironic to me is if any of the Teresa fanatics actually like her and not just the turmoil she creates, why are they pro Luis…makes zero sense.)
They’ll believe it when Teresa divorces him or he is caught cheating. These are the same fans that claimed til the very end that Teresa and Joe were not complete grifters,,,,, until they that went to prison.
Actually the fanatics are those suffering from a bad case of TDS
Particularly the one you are responding to. I actually think there is something seriously NQR with them. To be that obsessed, opinionated and repetitive in their views is beyond the pale and borderline stalker like.
You do know about “stalking” someone to other sites and downvoting all their comments on article(s) don’t you? That isn’t me. I’m just giving you something to gripe about I guess.
Sorry sweetheart, not on any other sites and you aren’t that important for me to stalk you…pretty sure there would be plenty more people than me that find your constant commenting completely obnoxious and annoying. No one likes a know it all, that has to have an opinion about everything.
I know for a fact you did exactly what I said and I’m not the only one who noticed. So maybe you haven’t been on other sites this month but you have been before or there is some other SU. You wouldn’t care or probably notice if my opinions or factual info weren’t about about the felon and her husband.
I see this person is still obsessed with you.
They deny it, but it is glaringly obvious.
Yea, asked me not to comment on their comments so I didn’t and then it disparages me to someone else I was having a discussion with.
That one and another need to have “warning-do not comment on my comments unless you agree or I will trash you ” for their icons.
Can you GAL…seriously one where you step away from your computer and take off your tin foil hat. I couldn’t GAS about Teresa and her husband (or you for that matter), you see I have a life (you wouldn’t understand that), that doesn’t obsess around reality TV and in particular RHONJ. Your obsession is next level…the fact that you bring up T&L in every conversation and spit out your useless facts doesn’t make you seem educated, it actually makes you seem quite (or very) sad that you need to invest so much time into people from a reality television show.
If you don’t care about Teresa and her husband then that makes following someone to another site and downvoting all their comments all the more weird. It was noticeable because yours were the only downvotes!
You asked me not to comment on your comments so I didn’t until you couldn’t stop yourself from referring to me negatively (within a week!). If you don’t like me making a comment on an article and replying or commenting to others then keep it to yourself or even better, block me and you won’t see them.
“fanatic. / (f??næt?k) / noun. a person whose enthusiasm or zeal for something is extreme or beyond normal limits.” Note “extreme” and I would add “beyond reason”.
TDS? That is an acronym for “total dissolved solids” in general from my experience, although I realize it has been used to refer to d. trump being deranged or something like that. I wouldn’t call Teresa deranged if that is what you are referring to but sometimes I wonder about her fanatics!! Ha!
I’m happy for Luis and Teresa and I’m glad the court recognized how crazy his ex is.
Her request for a permanent restraining order was denied. That’s all. That is hard to achieve, but she did win by bringing his behavior to light so he stops. TreApes’ soon to be second ex husband is a nut job.
There are still charges pending for the reason she wanted the restraining order. He hired Bo to have an employee more or less “stalk” her by pretending to be a patient to get close to her to see if she was still interested in him. They had a huge planned and scheduled wedding for early 2020 that she canceled due to his erratic behavior.
I can see why the restraining order might not have been approved since the main case against him is pending. If he loses, then there shouldn’t be a problem getting the restraining order if she wants it.
I hope she keeps going forward with her case. And isn’t it funny how all the Teresa fans want her to stay with him? They so want to believe in TreApe’s fairytale life just like they wanted to believe that she actually had money…… until she went to prison
That part never made sense. I thought if they adore her so much, they’d be up in arms about Luis from the beginning and especially how demeaning he was toward her on camera constantly correcting her, admonishing her for what she said and telling her what to say! He started that “training” phase his first season when he said he was going to leave if she didn’t stop talking or how else will she learn. Melissa mentioned it at the reunion but nobody paid attention. He humiliated her.
So all I can figure, the fanatics just like to watch someone perhaps like them who gets away with terrible and irresponsible behavior and don’t actually give a hoot about her.
Grifters support other grifters that get away with it.
That has to be it.
