Another day, another lawsuit against Bravo. This time, Marco Vega, the butler from RHUGT season 2, is suing Bravo for sexual abuse & harassment.
Marco Vega, the butler from season 2 of the RHUGT, is suing Bravo, alleging that he was sexually abused during a wild party at Dorinda Medley‘s Bluestone Manor in Massachusetts.
In court documents obtained by TMZ on Friday, October 21, Marco Vega claims that during a party in September 2021 at Blustone Manor, while filming season 2 of RHUT, Phaedra Parks slapped his butt and Brandi Glanville ripped his shirt off, exposing his torso.
Brandi allegedly told Vega:
“Earn your money, Marco. Take your shirt off. Do something!”
According to Vega, the incident occurred after a strip tease show at Bluestone Manor. After the show concluded, Vega alleges that producers told him to “go over and get the women dancing!”
In the lawsuit, Vega alleges that all of the women were drinking heavily throughout the entire night. On top of that, Vega claims that the incident took a toll on his marriage as his wife was very upset over what happened while filming season 2 of RHUGT.
As a result, Vega is now suing Bravo for sexual abuse and harassment. He claims that Bravo has a long history of condoning bad and inappropriate behavior from its stars for the sake of good TV. Vega is seeking monetary damages.
Previously, Vega expressed his disappointment in the antics from RHUGT on Instagram in 2022. Brands By Bravo shared screenshots of Vega’s Instagram Story on their page.
In the screenshots, Vega said he “didn’t really ‘connect’ with any of the ladies” and “was not happy” about being “forcibly stripped.”
After the news of Vega’s lawsuit came to light in the press, Page Six reached out to both Phaedra and Brandi’s reps for a comment.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum’s rep said, “She is traveling and unavailable for comment.”
As for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, her rep said, “She has the utmost respect for Marco. Anything that occurred on the set that evening was requested by the producers and approved by Marco Vega himself.”
A new season of RHUGT will begin streaming on Peacock in December.
