Ramona Singer’s daughter Avery Singer has some major rich girl problems, and she’s not afraid to whine about them if she wants!
Avery Singer recently claimed that she couldn’t get a job in finance because of her time on the Real Housewives of New York.
“I have taken a backseat from the show for an extremely long time because I worked at Morgan Stanley,” the 28-year-old said on a podcast this week, according to Page Six.
She continued, “Like most of my finance career, I couldn’t get jobs because of me being associated with the TV show.”
Avery went on to bash Bravo and the kids of The Real Housewives who ride their mom’s coattails for fame and money.
“There are many Bravo kids that ride their mom’s coattails that are like a wannabe Kylie Jenner, all duck-faced, posting,” the daughter of RHONY OG Ramona Singer said. Ramona starred on RHONY from its inception in 2008 until it was put on pause following season 13 in 2021.
Apparently, Avery wanted to distance herself so much from The Real Housewives that she no longer watches Bravo at all.
“I don’t watch Bravo, period. I’ve never seen a lot of the shows,” she quipped. “I’m now starting a company, and I did most of that by myself.”
Naturally, Bravo fans weren’t happy with Avery’s comments as she most recently was on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen to promote her new business, Bach Boss, which plans luxury bachelor and bachelorette parties. She also reached out to numerous of her mom’s Real Housewives connections to promote her new business on social media. RHONJ‘s Teresa Giudice promoted the business on her Instagram, as did other Housewives and Bravolebs.
Reddit users had quite a bit to say about Avery’s comments – and they didn’t hold back!
“It’s rich that she’s hating on Bravo when she went on [Watch What Happens Live] to shill her “boss babe” Bach party business,” one Bravo fan wrote.
A second fan commented, “I doubt the average employer would even know who Ramona Singer is, let alone her daughter.”
“Ugh, so oppressed,” a third fan quipped.
“I know of adult children of well-known parents that have worse reputations than Ramona who have been able to make good lives for themselves. People are surprisingly sympathetic and offer opportunities to kids with sh—y parents. This is personal. If she isn’t getting interviews – they don’t like her,” another Bravo fan commented.
The Real Housewives of New York returns to Bravo for season 14 on July 16.
