Teresa Giudice reveals why she needs to come back for season 14 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey.

Like the rest of the RHONJ cast, Teresa Giudice‘s fate on the show is up in the air. As AllAboutTRH exclusively reported, RHONJ is taking a break before the cameras go up for season 14 of the show.

Instead of filming season 14 this summer, Bravo is putting the RHONJ franchise on a temporary “pause” and hopes to pick up filming in the fall. However, filming could be pushed until early 2024.

Sources tell AllAboutTRH that Bravo plans to give fans a breather from the franchise as they spend the next few months figuring out casting. Most likely, everyone in the cast will be back for season 14, but Bravo knows that fans are over the drama between Teresa Giudice and the Gorgas. The network needs to see if they can find a way to have Teresa and the Gorgas coexist on the show without their family feud taking center stage. This may mean adding new faces to the show as full-time cast members or friends. It could also mean that the cast may remain the same for season 14, but that certain cast members’ roles on the show will change – meaning some could be demoted to friends or some friends could become full-time cast members.

Now, Teresa Giudice is speaking out on why she needs to return next season.

The Bravoleb tells Extra‘s Billy Bush:

“I need to come back. I have four daughters — one’s going to law school!”

Teresa shares daughters Gia, 22, Gabriella, 19, Milania, 17, and Audriana, 13, with ex-husband Joe Giudice.

When asked if everyone in the RHONJ cast is returning for season 14, Teresa Giudice admitted: “I have no idea.”

“I don’t even know if I’m coming back!” she said. “I don’t know if I’m locked in! I gotta check with my lawyer.”

She quickly noted: “Hello, I started the show.”

Meanwhile, Andy Cohen recently admitted that no casting decisions have been made for season 14 of RHONJ but teased that either Teresa Giudice or Melissa Gorga might have to go, as it seems the two can and will no longer film together.

In a preview for the upcoming season 13 reunion, Teresa told Melissa that this would be the last time she’d ever have to see her face, hinting that Melissa would be exiting the show after this season.

“I can’t wait to never f—— look at your face after today,” Teresa told her sister-in-law, who asked, “Why? Where you going?”

“You’re leaving,” Teresa fired back.

Meanwhile, Teresa and her husband, Louie Ruelas, call all the drama with Joe and Melissa Gorga “sad.”

“Listen, I wish them well, I just need time to heal. I need my space, I need time to heal,” Teresa admitted. “Like, it was sad what we went through. It was a lot. Like, here’s the happiest time of my life, and listen, I’ve been through a lot. Not that I need anybody to feel sorry for me. But my brother knows what I’ve been through, and his wife. I was just so happy. The only thorn in my side were them two, and it’s so sad — it’s my only family.”

Louie added: “It’s hard. This family, it’s been going on for a long time. I tried, I tried a lot. On camera, off camera… as a brother-in-law. If you want to talk about things with your brother-in-law, you talk about things with your brother-in-law. It’s uncomfortable because it’s all on TV.”

Part one of the RHONJ season 13 reunion airs Tuesday, May 30 at 8 pm on Bravo.

i sure wish TreApe & Ewie would reign in their spending. All the ones that brag that they’re the show end up getting dumped because it’s gone to their heads. Alexia on Miami is next. Most people want to see the glamour and what people with money can do or go. Manufacturing feuds to stay relevant gets old fast. She made a BIG mistake marrying that lobster ? & she’s lucky in the end she’ll have 4 dawters to prop her up once they have to move to a skeevy 2nd hand house.

I seriously wish they would get rid of Teresa. Are the Gorga's 100% innocent? No, but since the day they came on the show Teresa has done everything she can to trash Melissa. They don't have to like each other, but just don't talk or hang out. Is it necessary for Teresa to try and out Melissa as a stripper, make fun of her singing thing, now engage in a rumor that she cheated on Joe? Enough is enough. She is just a nasty person.

In order to satisfy the viewers and the integrity of RHONJ, Melissa has to go. It is a must. OR she could compete for a "full-time" role against Marge. If both ( Tre and Melissa)come back full-time, Bravo should expect lower ratings because viewers are tired of 10 plus years feud. No need to watch a dynamic that is "fake" we could literally just listen to podcasters- and many times it more interesting and entertaining then the actually show. Add on, the behind-the-scenes dirt is much juicier than the actually show. Not sure why Bravo wants to keep Melissa - there is literally nothing entertaining about her(no offense to her)- and she has fake storylines and doesn't want to reveal her "real life"; I am going to assume they really want Joey to stay on the show. She is not worth 1 millions payout. They could get rid of Tre which then turns the show more like "RHONY" which I don't think Bravo wants. I personally don't like the fake drama and do enjoy watching Tre with her family. People who watch it either love Tre or love to HATE Tre.

So many podcasts by the HW are starting to hurt the shows, absolutely, because it gives away too much of the show before it airs and stirs up too much new issues that have to be addressed at the reunion also.

That is certainly what happened with this one! I do not watch or listen to any podcasts about anything but RH gossip sites turn podcasts into articles so I've read them. Then watching is boring because it is redundant "old news" or the off camera affects the on camera behavior. It was already bad because of being so contrived and people acting for the camera.

You were on a roll until the last sentence, IMO. The last sentence describes all Teresa fans. It doesn't include at least half the fans of RHNJ who hate to watch Teresa and also don't want the show canceled because of her. I don't think it matters with Melissa and Joe although Joe is entertaining. The problem with keeping Teresa is that Luis will get it canceled if he is on again. He may have even already gotten her fired (which would be a good thing, IMO).

I keep trying to watch but Teresa ‘s constant raging is unwatchable. Luis is creepy AF. I know a lot of people like Teresa but she is unlikable to me. She has been trying to break up her brother’s marriage since day one. Teresa is a real work and her creepy husband will be her undoing

Everyone is free to comment. We all can handle it as long as we keep the comments at the HW, not at each other. We can do that and make it thru the reunion and keep it fun here and welcoming. I really would like to know if the goal of the site is to get readers of the blogs and/or to get comments and replies to comments? Somehow or another one has to get paid and obviously I have no idea. Is it beneficial to the site to have other commenters run people off simply because they aren't a fan of someone? Is it fine with the site to only have a dozen comments per article with at times more than half from the same person? Or is it better to have more people comment? I asked you before if maybe Roxanne should make it clear up front it is a Teresa fans blog which would head off some problems with people like me expecting too much journalism from a blog for one thing. It is astonishing how many people attempt to run others off with valid opinions.

They all better get used to not having the income. Without Teresa's income, the love bubble could explode if it hasn't started to already, IMO. At least they have the Teresa VIP on-line site where they charge users $4.99 a month in exchange for a chance to win monthly prizes! There is no way Luis should be back, IMO. He has been too concerned with fighting whoever he thinks wants to take Teresa's "seat" since last season when he started. The "reality" is ALL about being on the show to him. He has created a toxic work environment this season. If the new NY does okay, Bravo may go that route with NJ and/or just keep some of the new ones and get rid of the old ones. ?

It’s true. Luis has created a toxic work environment against his coworkers who are Bravo employees. This is a big liability for Bravo/NBC. Why Tre is scrambling now saying she needs the money for kids. She knows Bravo is fed up with her over the investigation conducted and dividing the cast over stupid stuff the Gorga’s haven’t done. Boo hoo. Spends $500K on a stupid wedding (Bravo only pays for venue). I feel sorry for her daughters on why she doesn’t plan for their future and continues to spend. Why people believe what she says when her actions speaks otherwise is baffling.

Well the one bright spot is the Teresa Wedding Special had really great ratings: 989,000 viewers, same share as the finale last week, (second highest rated episode of the season of 16), only the finale beat it by 30,000 viewers and the finale fight/ cheating was scandal was teased all season so it was a great number. Plus the NBA finales were on and lots of Season finales this week, big competition. These are very good numbers since 10, most of the episodes this season were in the 800,000 viewership range, Atlanta and OC are in the 750,000-850,000 range right now, so if Bravo is trying to decide whether to give Teresa a spin off, keep them all on the show, Just keep Teresa or Melisa, these numbers give Bravo good info. If the ratings came in at 775,000-800,000 and a lower share it would be a much different conversation for Teresa today , oh, she is on her way out, etc., so this really is a boost at the right time for her. They will get more numbers info after the streaming, 3 day on demand numbers come in.

Reunion numbers for every series tend to be the highest of the series. That has been the standard for most, you are right. Bravo also runs the most ads and promotions for the 3 reunion eps more than anything else really all season except the finale. The only thing that may drive down some of the ratings, especially by the third reunion episode is fans are really losing interest in the fighting between Teresa and Melissa. This is why ratings dropped below 1 million for RHONJ for the first time ever consistently after a decade and were 800,000 is some fatigue with that repetitive fighting, loyal fans stepped out because they just don’t want to watch a family fall apart any more, it’s too sad.

True, after watching one or two reunion Andy Springer shows, people won't want to be aggravated and frustrated while watching. Andy really brings the reunion issues on himself by not controlling the situation and treating them as they deserve. The ones that behave don't deserve to have to sit through the vulgar screaming. The show was originally centered around the Manzo/Laurtia clan, Teresa was simply a friend of. Thanks to her violent, animal behavior of flipping a table Bravo decided highlighting violent, combative, ignorant people was the direction they were going to take with this show.
