The claws are out as the drama between Danielle Cabral and Melissa Gorga is heating up on the RHONJ: After Show.
On the latest episode of the RHONJ: After Show, Danielle accuses Melissa of not paying for clothes from her pop-up event at Melissa’s Envy boutique.
As we saw on last week’s episode of RHONJ, Melissa had a pop-up shopping event at Envy to promote Danielle’s clothing line, which includes clothes for kids and women.
At the time, everything between the two seemed hunky dory; however, on the After Show, Danielle made a surprising accusation against Melissa.
“[Melissa] took an outfit from me and never paid me for it, and literally all my friends bought thousands of dollars from her store,” Danielle told co-star Jennifer Aydin, who replied, “Are you serious?”
Danielle explained, “And I know she’s going to say, ‘Well, I helped you!’ But in reality, she made a lot of money off of all the people that I brought into that store that day. [My outfit] wasn’t a lot, but she never paid me for the outfit she got.”
The mom of two then said if Melissa ever claimed she did Danielle a “favor” by hosting the pop-up event, she would fire back, “Thank you, I really didn’t get any sales from you promoting me.”
“One friend walked out, she’s like, ‘I don’t know what the f–k just happened. I just spent $700 in the store,’” Danielle continued. “And [Melissa] was like, ‘I don’t do this for anybody. I did you a favor.’ You know, favor goes two ways in this situation.”
Danielle believes that Melissa “a thousand percent” benefited from the pop-up event more than she did.
Melissa, on the other hand, doesn’t remember much about the event but believes Danielle “gifted me a little cute thing.” Although she notes she “can’t remember.”
Rachel Fuda then chimed in, claiming that Melissa “bought it.”
“It was a three-piece set. It was a gift. I have a good memory. It was like $25. I think she charged you,” the RHONJ newbie claimed.
A surprised Melissa asked Rachel if the item was a gift, to which the newbie said, “No. You called me.”
