The word on the street is that Juan Dixon is feeling the heat these days!
A former female basketball player is now coming out against Juan just days after CBS Sports reported that he was let go by Coppin State University. For the past six years, the Bravoleb has served as the University’s head basketball coach.
University of the District of Columbia alum Dionna Renee released a series of tweets on Thursday, March 16, slamming Juan, who was her former basketball coach.
According to Renee, when Juan came to coach women’s basketball at UDC, “he made it very clear that he did not want to coach women’s basketball and that his goal was to get to the men’s side pronto.”
Renee claims that Juan was “the worst coach” she ever had because “he didn’t know how to work with the players he had.”
She also reveals: “He also brought a few [of] his concubines to away games. One even road on the team bus from the hotel to the gym. Bold, I’ll say.”
As for Renee’s beef with Juan, that not only comes from him being a bad coach but also from the fact that he kicked her off the team for what she claims was merely witnessing a fight involving another player on the team. To make matters worse, Renee says that Juan didn’t care that she was on scholarship and that being kicked off the team would affect her ability to finish her degree while heading into her senior year. Two weeks late, Juan quit UDC after getting a job coaching men’s basketball at Coppin State University.
“FUXK YOU, Juan Dixon,” Renee said in conclusion.
Earlier this week, AllAboutTRH reported that Juan was let go from his coaching job at CSU. This surprising news comes just months after Juan was named in a November 2022 lawsuit. In the lawsuit, former CSU player Ibn Williams alleges that he was extorted and sexually assaulted by Juan’s assistant coach, Lucian Brownlee.
Williams named Juan in the lawsuit and alleges that he failed to take action despite being informed about the allegations against Brownlee.
The lawsuit was brought up at the Real Housewives of Potomac season 7 reunion, where Juan’s wife, Robyn Dixon, insisted he did nothing wrong. She also claims that Juan’s name was only added to the lawsuit for clickbait.
This all comes on the heels of Juan’s recent cheating scandal. In January, an unidentified woman came forward, claiming she had an affair with Juan during the tail end of the COVID-19 pandemic. She backed up her claims by sharing a hotel receipt showing Juan’s name and personal information on it with a blogger who published the tea on TikTok.
On the January 30th episode of her podcast, Reasonably Shady, Robyn admitted that some of the claims being made about Juan were true.
According to the RHOP star, “There are a lot of things that need to be cleared up.” She added that a lot of “what’s being said” about Juan’s relationship with this unnamed woman “did not happen.”
The Real Housewives of Potomac is expected to return for season 8 in mid-to-late 2023.
