Cameras have already started to roll for season 17 of the Real Housewives of Orange County. However, Bravo is still finalizing the cast as we speak.
According to a new post from Real Housewives Franchise on Instagram, there’s some new scoop about the season 17 cast of RHOC.
As we said, Bravo is still finalizing casting, but we have somewhat of an idea about what role each cast member will play for season 17.
Season 16 stars Heather Dubrow, Shannon Beador, Emily Simpson, and Gina Kirschenheiter are all returning for another season of drama. However, Gina has reportedly been demoted to a ‘friend of the Housewives’ for the upcoming season.
Tamra Judge is returning for season 17 and will reclaim her status as a full-time Housewife. On the other hand, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Taylor Armstrong will be featured as a ‘friend-of’ for season 17.
Rumor has it that former RHOC star Alexis Bellino is still in contract negotiations with Bravo. If Alexis does return, she will most likely be a friend of the Housewives.

Season 17 Cast
The network is still searching for one or two new Housewives to add to the mix for season 17. The OG of the OC, Vicki Gunvalson, may make a few guest appearances throughout the season, according to Real Housewives Franchise. The outlet notes that Tamra said she plans to invite Vicki to group filming events during the season.
Real Housewives Franchise also reveals that “Bravo has told the ladies to ‘bring it’ as this is RHOC’s last chance to save itself from turning into RHOC Legacy.”
RHOC is set to return for season 17 in late 2022 or early 2023.
