It seems that Kelly Dodd never learned that old adage that if you can’t say anything nice you shouldn’t say anything at all.
The Bravo alum is facing backlash after she compared Real Housewives of Orange County star Emily Simpson to the character Fiona from Shreck.
Kelly wasn’t a fan of Emily’s season 16 reunion look and took a shot at her following part one of the RHOC reunion on Wednesday night.
On Instagram, Kelly posted a side-by-side photo of Emily at the season 16 reunion and the cartoon ogre – both rocked floor-length, green-hued gowns.
“Who rocked it better ?? #rhoc,” Kelly quipped.
Fans quickly ripped Kelly to shreds over her comment.
“Oh gosh Kelly….I don’t like Emily AT ALL, but this is not kind!” one fan commented.
Another wrote, “Petty,” while a third agreed, saying, “Not ok.”
“Please don’t be like this. I really want to like you but….,” another Bravo fan commented.
“This is very distasteful, idk why you would do this?” one fan asked.
Kelly went on to defend her post because Emily is “a bully.”
Part 2 of the Real Housewives of Orange County reunion airs Wednesday, April 27, at 9 est on Bravo.
