Ooof, the hits keep coming for Braunwyn Windham-Burke.
Just weeks after she was embarrassingly fired from the Real Housewives of Orange County, she and her husband Sean Burke have now been sued for eviction.
This news comes just days after Braunwyn and Sean announced they are separating.
The couple is attempting a “trial run separation” for the summer. This means that Braunwyn will take the kids to live in Hawaii for the rest of summer while Sean rents a place in Newport Beach. Sean’s new digs happened to be owned by a friend of Braunwyn’s girlfriend, Fernanda Rocha.
According to Radar Online, the former reality TV couple is being sued for $45,000 in back rent on their Newport Beach rental home, which was heavily featured on season 15 of RHOC.
The owner of the Newport Beach mansion, Karen Ogden, filed a civil lawsuit against Braunwyn and Sean on July 12. She claims the OC couple breached their rental contract.
Braunwyn and Sean reportedly signed a lease to rent out the five-bedroom, 8,000-square-foot home for $15,000 a month. The length of their lease was for one year and six months.
Legal documents reveal that Braunwyn and Sean failed to pay rent for three months. Ogden, who also acts as a landlord on the property, told the couple they were being kicked out of the rental home last month.
Ogden is requesting that the back payments of $45k be paid in full. She also demands that the couple vacate the property immediately. The property is currently on the market for $6.8million.
RHOC is expected to return for season 16 in late 2021 or early 2022.
