Kenya Moore has Kyle Richards’ back!
The two long-time Housewives must have bonded quite a bit while filming the Real Housewives mashup in Turks and Caicos because the Real Housewives of Atlanta star came to Kyle’s defense amid her recent drama with RHOBH c0-star Garcelle Beauvais.
On the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle and Garcelle recently hashed out their drama surrounding their season 10 donation drama. If you recall, at the season 10 reunion, Kyle accused Garcelle of skipping out on the $5k donation pledge she made during a charity auction for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
Garcelle insisted the payment “fell through the cracks innocently.” Both ladies later confirmed that Garcelle paid the donation in full.
Fast forward to season 11, and fans saw Garcelle and Kyle hash out this issue in an attempt to move forward with their budding friendship.
Garcelle questioned whether Kyle would have called out any of the white women in the cast if they had done the same thing, saying she felt like “it was weaponized towards me being a Black woman.”
She then explained that there’s a stereotype in the black community that “we don’t pay for our rent, that we don’t tip.”
Kyle said she doesn’t have “any issue” with Garcelle and “totally” understood what she was saying.
“And for that, I apologize,” she added, “I wasn’t thinking of it like that at all. I appreciate you sharing that with me; I do. I really do.”
Well, Kyle may have been understanding, but Kenya Moore wasn’t feeling any of it.
