Gia Giudice drew a line in the sand during part one of the Real Housewives of New Jersey season 11 reunion.
The 20-year-old made it clear that she’s not a fan of her uncle and aunt, Joe and Melissa Gorga, talking about her dad, Joe Giudice, on the show or in news articles.
At the reunion, host Andy Cohen asked Teresa Giudice why she “can’t see” that her brother, Joe, has always defended her against her ex-husband, Joe Giudice.
This question comes after fans saw Teresa and Joe get into a heated fight over the RHONJ OG’s constant support of her ex-husband.
Teresa replied: “I’ve done nothing but defend my brother at the beginning of my marriage, and he knows that. I always put my brother before my husband.”
She then noted that Melissa and Joe spoke poorly of Joe Giudice on national TV.
“My kids got upset about it,” she explained.
Gia then shared her thoughts in a pre-recorded clip.
“My Uncle Joe and Aunt Melissa should not bring up my father because it’s not only disrespecting my mom, but it’s disrespecting my sisters and I,” Gia said.
Joe Gorga responded: “I’ve kept my mouth shut for a very long time, so if I exploded once, now I’m the bad guy.”
The rest of the RHONJ cast then chimed in and said Joe should not have “exploded” while filming.
Joe continued, “This is real life. Sometimes you can’t control it cause it’s a tough subject, right? That’s why I get a little crazy.”
Teresa and Joe tied the knot in 1999 and announced their separation in December 2019. They finalized their divorce in September 2020. In addition to Gia, the former couple share daughters Gabriella, 17, Milania, 15, and Audriana, 12.
