The men of the Real Housewives of New Jersey stopped by the virtual Clubhouse for the May 5 episode of Watch What Happens Live, and not surprisingly, the Garden State house-husbands had a lot to say. However, it was Dolores Catania’s ex-husband Frank Catania who stole the show and proved once again why he’s a fan favorite.
To start off the festivities, Andy Cohen asked the men their opinion on Dolores’ boyfriend David buying her a Porsche instead of an engagement ring and wondered if they all believed it was a stalling tactic.
Joe Gorga, Joe Benigno, and Bill Aydin all agreed with Andy’s statement that “Dolores was disappointed that David got her a Porsche instead of a ring” however, Frank disagreed entirely.
“No, not at all. Dolores is happy just the way things are right now,” Frank shared. He later explained why David doesn’t attend the guys’ poker parties.
“David’s usually busy,” he said. “I always defend David. He’s busy.”
As for the physic telling Dolores that David is NOT her soul mate, Frank said, “Listen, I’m Dolores’ soul mate. Even though we’re not romantically involved, I’m still her soul mate.”
He also noted that he believes there’s “a 50-50 chance” Dolores and David will get married.
So, what does Dolores think of Frank declaring that he’s her soul mate? Well, she addressed the statement during an interview with E! News.
Dolores doesn’t deny Frank’s claim and notes that they’ve “bonded for a long time.”
“Safe to say I agree with him,” she said. “You know, a soulmate I don’t think has to be an intimate relationship. A soulmate can be a dog, a soulmate can be a child or a best friend, and Frank is definitely my soulmate in the fact that I’ve done past life things and it says me and Frank have been bonded for a long time together, so I could see that.”
“I don’t deny that. It’s okay, you know?” she added.
