BIG Mazels all around for Kara Keough and her family!

The Real Housewives of Orange County alum announced her third child’s birth – a baby boy on Saturday, April 10, via Instagram.

Kara and husband Kyle Bosworth welcomed son Vaughn Mack Bosworth on March 31, 2021. He measured in at 20.5 inches and weighed 7 pounds 6 ounces at birth.

Vaughn’s birth comes nearly a year after the passing of his older brother McCoy Casey Bosworth, who died of “shoulder dystocia and a compressed umbilical cord” during birth. Kara and Kyle are also parents to five-year-old daughter Decker Bosworth.

“The day McCoy was born, I started writing a story. Our story. I don’t typically like to spoil the ending, but in this case, the ending is a new beginning, “ Kara wrote on Instagram alongside photos of the newborn with his family. “Introducing Decker and McCoy’s baby brother: Vaughn Mack Bosworth.”

“Measuring at 20.5 inches and weighing 7 pounds 6 ounces of heaven-sent sweetness,” she continued. “Born on 3.31.21 in Room 11, 6 days before what should have been his big brother’s 1st birthday. His name means “small/little” and “hope.”

She added: “It’s not lost on us that if we hadn’t lost Mack, we’d never know Vaughn. And yet, here he is, an unexpected serendipity. A little hope.”

On Easter Sunday, Kara announced she was pregnant and expecting her third child. It turns out she was much further along than any of us expected!
Congrats to Kara, Kyle, Decker, and the entire Keough/Bosworth family. What an incredible blessing after such a devasting and difficult year. Team AllAboutTRH wishes this beautiful family nothing but happiness and good health.

RHOC is expected to return for season 16 in late 2021 or early 2022.
