The Real Housewives of New Jersey is set to start filming again this month. Rumor has it that Bravo honcho, Andy Cohen, wants Caroline Manzo to return! Caroline was an OG and then had her own spin-off series, Manzo’d With Children. According to insiders, Andy is “begging” Caroline to return to the RHONJ!
According to Radar Online, “Andy has called Caroline so many times trying to get her back on the show.” Not only has he been contacting Caroline, he allegedly has been reaching out to her husband and family as well. “He calls her husband too, he’s pushing hard to have her come back,” the insider explained. OG of the RHONJ, Teresa Giudice, has made it clear that she doesn’t want Caroline or Jacqueline Laurita to return to the show. However; Teresa is still the best of friends with Caroline’s sister, Dina Manzo. Dina was also an OG, but she left during season two. She came back full-time for season six but then left. Teresa is the only OG to appear every season. The source claimed, “Caroline has turned him down so many times, but he is really trying to convince her to come back. But she’s worried that the fans won’t be there for her.”
Since Bravo is starting to film soon to capture Joe Giudice’s deportation drama, the insider said that Andy feels that Caroline would fit back in. Caroline appeared on the show for the first five seasons. The source said, “Teresa doesn’t want Caroline back, but she doesn’t make the decisions on the show. And Andy can be very persuasive.”
Oh my! I would love it if all of the OG’s returned to the show. I loved the earlier seasons of the RHONJ the best.
