In a world full of weird celebrity baby names, Southern Charm’s Cameran Eubanks’ seemed to give her baby girl a pretty tame name. The Southern Charm cast has repeatedly stressed the importance of keeping family names alive, so when Cameran gave her baby girl the unique name of Palmer many assumed it was a family name.
Palmer Corrine Wimberly is the newest addition to the Southern Charm cast and while she has some Charleston high society parents, her name has nothing to do with the old south. In fact, Cameran recently revealed that Palmer was most likely named after a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model! Curious to hear more?
Well, in an interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish Cameran reveals her hubby came up with the name and she has some suspicions on where it actually came from:
“A lot of people assume that it is a family name, but it is not. My husband actually came up with the name and I am convinced that it is from a movie. There is a Sports Illustrated model in this movie [Just Go With It], Brooklyn Decker, and the character that she plays, her name was Palmer and so I think that is where he got it from.”
While the name Palmer is very cute, if my husband was inspired by a SI swimsuit model I may be going back to the baby books for additional options (just saying!)
