Bethenny Frankel is no stranger to being in the media, but according to her, she is a stranger of bad press, because she admitted to Wetpaint that she doesn’t really feel like she gets a lot of it. Check out what Bethenny had to say regarding the things that are written about her in the press!
“It’s funny. I don’t think it’s like get a lot of bad press, but then people I work with, and people that work with Ellen, they’re like, ‘Oh no, you get a lot of bad press.'” “They tell me it’s a little crazy. I’m sort of numb to it.”
She did admit, however, that there are some things that are written that do bother her.
“There are people, and I know who they are, that like to leak stories about me, and it’s like roaches, you can’t kill them, these stories, they’re getting out there.” “It bothered me that people were saying I come in and out and I’m not in meetings. I’m in every single inch of every meeting.” “So, when it was something like that, it would bother me.” “If it’s about my work ethic, or dedication to the show.”
On her show’s ratings and her “underdog” state of mind she says,
“It’s hard to break through,” she said “Very few people, I can think of maybe one in the last decade, have broken through in daytime television. Have really broken through. It’s not an easy thing to do.”
“I like the conversation between women.” “I think it’s an important conversation that no one’s having.” “If someone else is willing to have it, then great, but I haven’t seen that.”
I think Bethenny does know about all the bad press that is written about her, but chooses to act like she doesn’t. I do think she tried to have a talk show a lot like Wendy Williams, as to where there is a lot going on in each part of the show, but I think it is her personality that is failing to connect with her audience. I also standby what I said, which is, if Bethenny wants to make up for a month long of ratings, she should have Teresa Giudice on her show! What do you guys think?
