Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga has had some terrible PR this week after excerpts of her newly released marriage advice book were less than well received, and her husband, is responding, calling all the backlash “ridiculous”!
After leaving court with his lawyer, James Leonard, Joe asked reporters questions about the backlash accusing him and his wife of advocating marital rape and their “caveman” marriage. NJ.com reports, “Joe Gorga said Thursday he had read the Jezebel.com review and dismissed it. He shook his head and laughed it off when asked about the review.”
As for the lawyer, he also chimed in, claiming he had read Melissa’s book and that he gives it a 5 star review! “I think it’s trash,” Leonard said about the gone-viral book review. “For people to malign the book is deplorable.”
I can’t say I’d expect Joe Gorga to apologize about having sent out a possibly misconstrued message. This is the man who is hornier than a 14 year old boy watching a women’s volleyball game.
