Heather Thomson proved in her first season of Real Housewives of New York City that she’s not one to be catty but has no problem fighting back when provoked. The creator of Yummie Tummie has taken action against Spanx creator, Sara Blakely, for allegedly infringing copyrights on Yummie Tummie’s control tops!
Heather explains that someone delivered the Spanx’s “control tank top” product to her office with an anonymous note. She adds, “I immediately recognized it as my original Yummie Tummie tank.”
Spanx has since filed a declaratory judgement denying infringement on Heather’s patents! Heather sticks to her guns saying, “I hope she’s ready for war because I will not lie down.”

Who’s side are you on? I hope Heather wins this! It’s so frustrating to have people rip your work off for their own personal gain. Although Spanx is a bigger brand, trying to get success off someone else’s hard work is never going to work out for anyone no matter how successful you already are. Tacky.
