Speaking with [TV Insider](https://www.tvinsider.com/1300299/rhori-rosie-dimare-rhonj-crossover-melissa-joe-gorga-interview/) at Bravo Fan Fest 2026 in Charleston, South Carolina, Rosie revealed that she already has a relationship with Melissa that dates back to before she joined the Housewives universe. “I love Melissa from New Jersey,” Rosie shared. The RHORI star explained that she first crossed paths with Melissa years ago while working as a television news anchor. “I actually knew her when I was still a news anchor. We used to host live events and stuff and she was at one of them,” Rosie recalled. Now that Rosie has become a Housewife herself, she's hoping the two women can reconnect on camera. “So I would love to do something with Melissa and Joe. If they ever want to come to Rhode Island for a little trip, we’d love to have them.” The idea wouldn't be completely out of the ordinary for RHORI, which already welcomed a familiar face from *The Real Housewives of New Jersey* during its inaugural season. Dolores Catania appeared on RHORI Season 1 in a friend-of capacity, helping connect Bravo's newest Housewives franchise with one of its most established shows. Dolores' involvement brought an additional layer of familiarity to the Rhode Island cast, particularly given her longstanding relationships within the New Jersey Housewives circle. Now, Rosie appears interested in expanding that connection by inviting Melissa and Joe to experience Rhode Island firsthand. And with RHONJ preparing to return for Season 15 in December 2026, the timing could make for an interesting crossover between the two franchises. ![](https://allabouttrh.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/image-91.png) Melissa and Joe have been part of RHONJ since Season 3, with their marriage and complicated relationship with Teresa Giudice becoming major storylines over the years. However, the Gorga family is entering a new chapter following Melissa and Teresa's reconciliation in 2025. The upcoming season of RHONJ will feature Melissa, Teresa and Dolores returning alongside six new cast members following the show's lengthy hiatus. While there's no indication that Melissa or Joe have officially agreed to appear on RHORI, Rosie's invitation suggests she would welcome the opportunity to bring even more familiar Bravo personalities into the mix. Meanwhile, Rosie also addressed one of the biggest questions surrounding RHORI's second season: where she stands with Kelsey Swanson. The two women developed one of the most contentious relationships during Season 1, repeatedly clashing over issues involving respect, loyalty and accusations of disrespect. Their disagreements began early in the season when Kelsey confronted Rosie over not receiving proper social media credit for hairstyling work she had done. What initially appeared to be a relatively minor disagreement quickly escalated into a much larger feud. Things became especially heated when Kelsey arrived at Rosie's home for a haircut appointment with a police siren playing, referencing an earlier disagreement about the square footage of Rosie's house. Rosie did not find the prank amusing, accusing Kelsey of taking repeated shots at her home and family. During the RHORI After Show, Rosie explained that she felt Kelsey had crossed a line by turning personal matters into jokes. Kelsey, meanwhile, insisted that she was only trying to have fun and accused Rosie of taking things too seriously. Their tension continued throughout the season, including another heated confrontation during a group trivia night. Now, with Season 2 on the horizon, Rosie doesn't appear ready to promise that their relationship will improve. “We think very differently. I’m very logical,” Rosie told TV Insider when asked about Kelsey. However, she didn't completely rule out the possibility of making peace. “But who knows. There’s always a chance. We’ll see.” The comments suggest that while Rosie remains frustrated by their differences, she hasn't entirely closed the door on a reconciliation. RHORI Season 2 filmed over the summer, although Bravo has not officially confirmed the full returning cast. Rosie is expected to return, while Liz McGraw has confirmed that she will not be participating in the second season. Despite the drama that dominated Season 1, Rosie believes the show's success came down to something simple: the women weren't trying to manufacture storylines or create television moments. Instead, she believes the cast's lack of experience with reality television helped make the series feel authentic. “I think we were all really ourselves,” Rosie explained. “We didn’t know anything about brand deals or public opinion, really, so we were just genuinely ourselves, which was good … or bad. And I think people really felt it.” Her comments echo what fellow RHORI star Alicia Carmody previously said about filming the show's first season. During an August interview with TV Insider, Alicia admitted that the women initially had no idea what to expect from the reality television experience. “We started off Season 1 literally never knowing what we were doing on a reality TV show,” Alicia explained. She recalled wondering whether the show would even make it to television. “Season 2, we’re like, ‘OK, it’s happening.’ I feel like we’re growing and I think that’s going to be cool for everyone to see.” With the cast now more familiar with the pressures of being on reality television, the upcoming season could bring a different dynamic as the women navigate their friendships and public reputations.
