And according to Gizelle, these types of disagreements are nothing new. Viewers just haven't always gotten to see them. Speaking exclusively to[Us Weekly,](https://www.usmagazine.com/entertainment/news/rhops-gizelle-bryant-addresses-tension-with-robyn-dixon/)Gizelle explained that she and Robyn have always been comfortable calling each other out when necessary. “Robyn and I always hold each other accountable and we always have,” Gizelle said. However, Gizelle suggested that previous seasons haven't necessarily shown those conversations. “They haven’t necessarily shown it in the past. It’s like now they’re finally showing it, which is great. Well, great for Robyn, I guess.” The comments come after the Season 11 trailer featured what appeared to be a tense exchange between Gizelle and Robyn at a dinner table. The moment even caught the attention of Karen Huger, who seemed particularly pleased to see Robyn standing up to her best friend. “Robyn is holding Gizelle accountable, and of course I like it,” Karen said in a confessional. For longtime RHOP viewers, the interaction is significant considering how frequently Gizelle and Robyn have been accused of defending one another regardless of the circumstances. The two women have been close friends since the early days of Potomac and eventually launched their successful *Reasonably Shady* podcast together. Throughout their time on the show, Gizelle and Robyn have often presented a united front, even when their relationships with other cast members became complicated. Their loyalty to one another has been praised by some viewers, while others have questioned whether the friends always hold each other to the same standards they expect from the rest of the cast. ![](https://allabouttrh.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/image-60.png) But Gizelle insists accountability has always been part of their relationship, even if those conversations didn't make the final edit. And despite the dramatic trailer, she doesn't want viewers assuming that their friendship is falling apart. “Robyn should hold me accountable,” Gizelle told Us Weekly. “Someone should. I mean, I’m not mad at it.” The moment comes as Robyn makes her return to RHOP after being let go from her full-time role following Season 8. Robyn previously confirmed in 2024 that she had not been asked back for another season, admitting that the decision was Bravo's rather than her own. After spending time away from the show, Robyn recently revealed that Cynthia Bailey helped convince her to return in a friend role. According to Robyn, she had been enjoying her peace away from RHOP and wasn't actively looking to rejoin the cast. However, Cynthia encouraged her to consider returning if Bravo reached out, explaining that filming as a friend could be a less stressful experience than holding a full-time Housewife position. Now, Robyn is back in the mix, and it appears her return will include some honest conversations with Gizelle. The season also marks the return of Karen Huger, bringing three of Potomac's most recognizable original cast members back together. Gizelle admitted she was excited to have both women filming again. “Karen is back, and she’s back sharing her true self more so than before I think,” Gizelle teased. She added that having Robyn return has brought a familiar energy back to the group. “Robyn’s back. I feel like with the vibe, we got the whole gang back together again so we know each other.” Gizelle explained that the women's longtime history allows them to interact in a way that newer groups may not be able to. “We know how to have fun. We know how to poke each other a little bit, and it’s the best.” Outside of RHOP, Gizelle is also preparing for another reality television experience after being announced as part of Peacock's *The Traitors* Season 6 cast. Although she was supposed to keep her participation a secret, Gizelle admitted she gave Robyn a heads-up because of their podcast commitments. Robyn even offered her some advice before filming. “She volunteered her advice,” Gizelle revealed. And while Gizelle wouldn't reveal how far she made it in the competition, she admitted the experience was much more demanding than expected. “Was it harder than I expected? It’s long days, and I didn’t know how long,” Gizelle explained. “Actually yes, it was harder than I expected. It’s hard, but it’s a wonderful experience.” As for her friendship with Robyn, Gizelle appears confident that their bond can handle a few uncomfortable conversations.
