After Kelsey made her debut on The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, we shared that her mystery boyfriend was John Caprio — the son of beloved late judge Frank Caprio.
While John isn’t confirming anything outright, his response has only added fuel to the conversation.
Just days after the rumors picked up traction, his family’s firm, Caprio Law, posted a cheeky Instagram video featuring the Real Housewives theme song. The clip included his daughter, attorney Sophia Caprio Santilli, and came with a caption that read: “No comment. Just counsel.”
The video didn’t stop there — it also leaned into the moment with a tongue-in-cheek message:
“Breakups are hard. But the reality is… talking through your options doesn’t have to be.”
Kelsey herself appeared to take the post in stride, reacting in the comments with a string of playful emojis, including laughing faces, raised hands, and a heart.
John later addressed the situation more directly when contacted by The Providence Journal, though he still kept his distance.
“I respectfully have no comment,” he said, adding that he was not comfortable discussing the topic further.
His daughter Sophia echoed a similar stance, confirming she appeared in the now-viral clip but declining to elaborate on the rumors.
“I’m going to let Kelsey tell her story and let the season unfold,” she said.
Not everyone tied to the Caprio name is amused by the attention.
John’s ex-wife, Catherine Caprio, made it clear she wants no part in the reality TV chatter.
“We want nothing to do with the ‘Real Housewives’ baloney,” she stated bluntly.
