Kyle Richards is weighing in on Amanda Frances’ future on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after fans questioned whether she might be a one-season Housewife.
During a recent Amazon Live, Richards was asked directly if Amanda would be “one and done” following her debut this season — especially as she’s faced some backlash from viewers.
Kyle didn’t hesitate to defend her.
“No, you know what? People just sometimes are misunderstood and I said she was a millennial, you know she communicates differently,” Kyle said.
She suggested that part of the disconnect may come down to personality and communication style.
“She’s actually a smart girl.”
Kyle also addressed the scrutiny Amanda has faced when it comes to her business, but made it clear she believes Amanda has earned her success.
“Her item of business is coming under scrutiny but she is successful. I mean she bought my house in Bel-Aire so you gotta give her props and give her a chance.”
Kyle then revealed that, despite appearing to be somewhat aligned this season, she barely knew Amanda before filming began.
“I met her one time for two minutes once so we all got to know each other at the same time,” she explained.
“But you know how it is over here.”
As Amanda continues to navigate her first season — and ongoing tension with the cast — Kyle’s comments suggest she may not be going anywhere just yet.
