Amanda Batula may be newly single, but don’t expect her to start dating anyone from the Summer House cast anytime soon.
Following her split from husband Kyle Cooke earlier this year, the reality star is making it clear she’s not interested in mixing romance with her castmates, even as fans continue to speculate about her dynamic with Jesse Solomon.
Amanda addressed the rumors during her upcoming appearance on the “Trading Secrets” podcast with Jason Tartick, where she revealed that viewers have been pushing the idea of her and Solomon getting together.
“There’s also mixed opinions on whether or not me and Jesse [Solomon] should get together,” Amanda, 34, revealed in Us Weekly’s sneak peek at her Monday, March 9, appearance on the “Trading Secrets” podcast hosted by Jason Tartick.
Despite the fan chatter, Batula says a romance with her fellow Summer House star simply isn’t happening.
“It’s not going to happen. I’m not touching any of my cast members,” Batula said with a laugh. “Love them dearly, but I’m good.”
Batula and Cooke, 43, confirmed their split in January after months of speculation that their relationship had hit a rough patch. The pair had been together for years before tying the knot in 2021, and their relationship played out heavily on Summer House.
While the two are not officially divorced yet, Batula has been open about how she’s feeling since the breakup and it sounds like she’s embracing this new chapter.
Earlier this month, she told Marie Claire that life after the split has actually been surprisingly positive.
“I am manifesting a boyfriend, but just a boyfriend. No one who’s looking for anything serious,” Batula told the magazine, adding that she wants to “have fun” with someone her “age or younger,” since she’s “always dated older.”
For now, though, it sounds like Batula is focused on enjoying single life — just not with anyone from the Summer House share house.
