Breakout star Tanin Nikpey is opening up, and it doesn’t sound like reconciliation is in the cards.
On the latest episode of the AllAboutTRH Podcast, Tanin sat down with Roxanne and Shantel to talk about her experience on The Valley Persian Style, what surprised her most about stepping into reality TV, how filming unexpectedly strengthened her marriage to Greg, and, of course, the current state of her once-close friendship with Sky Askari.
While Tanin admitted that being on reality TV came with its fair share of surprises, one of the biggest storylines this season has been the fallout between her and Sky. So when Roxanne asked the question fans have been wondering — whether Tanin could ever move forward with her former best friend — she didn’t sugarcoat her answer.
“Well I take accountability very seriously,” Tanin said. “People come to me and say, listen, I fu*cked up. I didn’t mean to say that. I know I did that. Maybe I looked at it and it was all wrong, but she’d have to check a lot of apologies and a lot of boxes with me for the things that happened off camera.”
And according to Tanin, the damage didn’t stop when filming wrapped.
“And after filming stopped and the amount of things she put me through with our friends and all of these things, she would have to do a lot of apologizing for too many, you know, boxes checked,” she continued. “Which I know her personally. It would never happen.”
That’s when Tanin made it crystal clear where things stand.
“So it’s like no to that point because there will be no accountability there. There will be no way, you know, forward.”
