Reza Farahan isn’t backing down.
The The Valley: Persian Style star is once again calling out The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills veteran Kyle Richards — and he’s making it crystal clear that he stands by every word.
The drama first erupted at BravoCon 2025 during a taping of BravoCon Live with Andy Cohen, when Reza boldly declared that Kyle was “the most overrated Housewife of all time.” And now, in a new interview with Decider, he’s doubling down.
“It’s how I feel,” Farahan said. “I feel like on every other franchise, on every other Bravo show, if you’re in a relationship, you have to talk about your relationship. And she gets to skate.”
For years, fans have debated whether Kyle has shared enough of her personal life — especially amid headlines surrounding her marriage and rumored relationships. Reza’s argument? The rules aren’t applied evenly.
“It’s not that I have an issue with Kyle. I think she’s a great person,” Farahan clarified. “I don’t have any issues with her, but it’s my honest opinion that she is very overrated, that if it were anyone else, they would have to be talking about their lesbian lover or alleged lover or whatever was going on.”
And he didn’t stop there.
“You’re getting tattoos, you’re doing a music video, you’re buying a house in Tennessee. What is the tea? Let us know.”
That’s the heart of Reza’s critique: transparency. In his view, other Housewives across the Bravo universe are expected to lay it all out — relationships, scandals, breakups — while Kyle, he believes, has been able to sidestep the same level of scrutiny.
Still, Reza insists this isn’t personal.
Despite the headline-making comment, he revealed that he did greet Kyle at BravoCon. According to him, Kyle later accused him of being “nice” to her face while “throwing her under the bus” behind her back — something he strongly disputes.
“It’s just my honest, humble opinion,” he said. “I think she’s an amazing person. I love Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but if you take all the Housewives, I think that a lot of them are much more open and honest about what’s going on in their lives than she is.”
