The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star posted a public apology to her Instagram Stories, acknowledging that her earlier reaction did not align with her intentions.

“I want to address my earlier Instagram post about the Super Bowl halftime show. My post did not reflect my heart or my respect for the artist and culture as a whole,” Taylor wrote.

While she admitted the performance wasn’t personally her taste, she clarified that her criticism should not have crossed into cultural commentary.

“The Super Bowl is such a huge American tradition,” she continued. “And while I personally didn’t connect with the creative direction of this year’s halftime show, that doesn’t take away from the fact that Bad Bunny IS an American and that the Spanish language is a prominent aspect of American culture.”

Taylor also acknowledged a factual mistake that contributed to the controversy.

“Evidently, my lack of awareness of the Latin culture led me to mistaken the flag as Cuban,” she said. “I sincerely apologize and plan to learn from this in the future.”

She closed her message by emphasizing her respect for cultural diversity.

“America is special because people from every culture and background can come here, share their talent, and make their dreams come true. That diversity is something I truly respect.”

The apology followed a now-deleted Instagram Story in which Taylor wrote she was “embarrassed” by the halftime show and criticized it for being “totally in Spanish with a Cuban flag,” comments that quickly spread online and sparked criticism.

I understand apologizing for the wrong flag comment but nothing else. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion-pro or against. She, Jill and anyone else that found the BB performance to be a joke, well so did many other Americans ( native and Latin) According to some; 48 million tuned into watch the game & 22 million only watched the half time performance.

I lose even the residual respect of any modicum of (ostensibly misplaced) respect I may have had for every one of these weaklings who bend over and spread them for demon d*ck (yeah I said it) through apologies which should never be given. Trading good for evil, the reward being the filthy lucre of this world. ? Ain’t gonna buy them sh*t on judgment day. Hear that. Yeah, I said it and I double, triple and quadruple down on it.
