If Dorinda Medley is shocked by Housewives behavior inside Bluestone Manor… you know it’s serious.
During a recent appearance on SiriusXM’s Reality Checked, Dorinda spilled behind-the-scenes tea about hosting the upcoming Real Housewives of Rhode Island cast at her iconic home while filming the finale of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. And according to Dorinda, the new girls didn’t exactly arrive quietly.
Dorinda admitted she got an early look at the Rhode Island cast before the rest of Bravo fans, and what she witnessed made her immediately nervous for what viewers are about to see.
“Well, I have to say the trailer dropped for the Real Housewives of Rhode Island. I want to preface it by saying I had the pleasure of meeting some of them,” she explained.
Fans had been confused about why a cast they hadn’t even met yet was already filming with Housewives veterans, but Dorinda reminded everyone that Bravo timelines operate in TV-world logic, not real-world logic.
What really caught her off guard wasn’t their presence — it was their energy.
Dorinda said the tension and volume level inside Bluestone Manor was so high she couldn’t believe it was happening under her roof.
“If these girls at Bluestone Manor where you must exercise some decorum are acting like this, and they don’t even know me and they’re in my house, I can only imagine what the show’s going to be like,” she said.
According to Dorinda, things escalated fast.
At one point, one cast member (she refused to name names) was screaming, “I don’t f—ing give a f—.”
That’s when Dorinda stepped in.
“I’m like, ‘Wait, whoa, whoa, whoa. This lady here don’t listen to that shit in here. So, get the f— up and get out of my house.’ No, I did say that.”
Yes. She actually said it.
Dorinda described the Rhode Island women as completely unfiltered and warned that they are not holding anything back this season. In fact, she joked to Kyle Richards that the tension was already so intense before the show even premiered that security might be needed.
“If they’re in this much tension now and the show hasn’t even dropped they’re going to have to have security guards,” she said.
If Dorinda — the woman who survived multiple Bluestone Manor meltdowns — thinks things are out of control, Bravo may have another explosive franchise on its hands.
And if this was just the finale taping preview? Rhode Island might be coming in hotter than anyone expected.
