Brittany Cartwright Reveals Jax Taylor STILL Hasn’t Paid Her Back And She’s Stuck Covering His Mortgage Debt

Brittany Cartwright is opening up about life after Jax Taylor, and one thing is very clear: Jax still owes her money.

While appearing on Harry Jowsey’s Boyfriend Material podcast, The Valley star spoke candidly about her ongoing divorce, co-parenting struggles, single life, and the revelation that Jax has yet to pay her back for money tied to their mortgage.

When Harry asked directly if Jax ever paid her back, Brittany didn’t sugarcoat it.

“Nope.”

She confirmed that yes, she absolutely wants that money back.

Brittany explained that while she can handle her own mortgage, it’s the additional financial burden Jax created that she’s still dealing with every single month.

“My mortgage is fine, but the extra stuff that he took out — which this was all on the show — the extra stuff that he took out that I am now having to pay monthly,” Brittany shared.

She added that she’s hoping the situation will finally be addressed once their divorce is finalized.

“Hopefully we’ll figure that out with a divorce.”

In addition to the financial stress, Brittany revealed that her divorce keeps getting delayed, largely due to paperwork and timing issues on Jax’s end.

“He didn’t turn in things on time… or he was out of town… so it just keeps getting delayed and delayed.”

Brittany made it clear that she has done everything required on her end, but if the other person doesn’t, the process stalls.

Despite the mess, Brittany says she’s in a much stronger place emotionally and is embracing single life.

“I don’t need a man for anything really. I’ve got my own house, my own money… I can do everything on my own.”

She also shared that becoming a mom changed everything and helped her realize how toxic the situation had become.

“This is such a toxic situation and he can’t live in this.”

Co-parenting with Jax hasn’t been easy, and Brittany admitted it’s still very much a work in progress.

“It’s hard whenever you can’t get along with somebody to also co-parent with them.”

Still, she emphasized that their son Cruz always comes first, even when things are difficult.

Between delayed divorce filings, unpaid mortgage-related expenses, and Brittany still covering costs tied to Jax’s financial decisions, fans are once again questioning how much accountability Jax is actually taking.

One thing is clear: Brittany is moving forward, but Jax’s financial mess is still part of her reality.
