Andy Cohen Says Walking Off the RHOSLC Reunion Was a “Thud”

Andy Cohen is finally addressing that reunion moment.

During a live episode of Andy Cohen Live, the Bravo boss broke down what really happened when he briefly walked off the stage during the The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion — and according to Andy, the dramatic exit wasn’t exactly what he intended it to be.

“I mean, my walk off was kind of a thud,” Cohen admitted.

Co-host John Hill was quick to tease him, suggesting that if Cohen was going to storm off, he needed to fully commit to the moment.

“Well, sweetie, you gotta commit to the bit,” John joked, adding that Andy should’ve gone all the way back to his trailer with cameras following him.

“If you’re gonna walk off, you need to go to the trailer. You need to get cameras up. Cameras on shoulders. Let’s follow Andy. F**k with them,” John said.

Cohen, however, explained why he stopped short of turning the moment into a full-blown spectacle.

“Well, here’s the thing. I walked off, but then the problem is, I look like a petulant fool if I take it all the way to my dressing room and be like, ‘They won’t listen to me,’” Andy said. “It’s like, ‘Well, guess what? That’s your job. You’re walking off?’”

As Andy reflected on it, he realized something else in real time — the walk-off wasn’t just dramatic, it was also wildly impractical.

“I walked off, and I realized what I always realized when someone else walks off, which is, ‘Oh, great. Now we’re gonna get out of here later,’” Andy explained. “You know, I walked off, and I was like, ‘Well, guess what’s not gonna happen while I’m gone? This reunion.’”

John confirmed what viewers likely sensed in the moment — that Andy seemed to catch himself mid-exit.

“I could see that in your face. You’re like, ‘If I keep going, this is gonna become a thing,’” John said.

“What am I doing? Yes,” Andy responded. “So I just wanted them to get a little sting of me walking off, and then going back.”

While Andy may have second-guessed the execution, he did admit there was one part of the moment he enjoyed.

“I did like that Mary was so upset,” Andy said.

John agreed, noting that Mary Cosby’s reaction stood out.

“Yeah. Her reaction was really great,” he said.

The conversation then turned to online speculation about the cast — specifically rumors that Bronwyn Newport might not be returning.

“That’s a rumor,” Andy quickly shut down.

Andy's drunken CNN performance on NYE was a thud too. And why is he giving Mary Cosby a pass? Again. That woman always gets handled with kid leather gloves. They just made a show about her church being a cult and her being a grifter for crying out loud. And he gives her a pass? But fires Katie on OC? So bloody irritating it's just a huge turnoff.

Re: Mary’s golden pass….Make no mistake, there IS an agenda behind it and I’ll leave it at that. ?

She's black, and therefore protected by the gay mafia. But of course this only applies to the low rent, cheap labor blacks. Expensive talent like Kenya Moore are thrown to the wolves.
