Kandi Burruss is keeping things honest when it comes to her post-divorce future with Todd Tucker, and fans are reading between the lines.
The former The Real Housewives of Atlanta star recently appeared on Amazon Live, debuting a sleek new bob with bangs for 2026 while answering questions from viewers. One question in particular stood out: whether she believes she and Todd could be friends after their divorce.
“Yes,” Burruss answered immediately, before pausing mid-thought.
“I think after a divorce, I think anybody should be able to … hopefully…” she said, stopping herself and looking directly into the camera. “Don’t get me started lying,” she added with a laugh.
Kandi then clarified where she truly stands.

“I hope we can be friends,” she said. “That’ll be my goal. But you know, I think when you’re going through the divorce, people get on your nerves. And you really start looking at them differently. So that’s why I’m hoping that we can make it through unscathed.”
While Burruss’ tone was light, longtime Bravo viewers know her relationship with Todd has always sparked discussion — and, at times, concern.
Kandi and Todd Tucker met behind the scenes of RHOA, where Todd worked as a producer. Their romance played out on camera, culminating in a lavish wedding and multiple spin-offs centered on their blended family and business ventures.
