Andy Cohen is clearing the air about his appearance, but not before enjoying the attention first.
After viewers flooded social media with speculation following his appearance on CNN’s New Year’s Eve broadcast, the Watch What Happens Live host made it clear that the rumors don’t bother him at all. In fact, he’s enjoying them.
“I love the speculation that I have dramatically changed my face,” Cohen said during a recent episode of Andy Cohen Live on SiriusXM, adding that he’s actually “so flattered” by the chatter.
Fans online questioned whether the 57-year-old had undergone major plastic surgery, but Cohen says the truth is far less dramatic. While addressing the rumors head-on, he broke down exactly what he’s done — and what he hasn’t.
According to Cohen, the tweaks were minimal. “I got the teeniest… bit of Botox,” he shared, along with “four minor veneers in front,” emphasizing that they’re “pretty minor.” He previously explained on Threads that his noticeable change also came down to a 20-pound weight loss and “a lot of makeup.”
And yes, the makeup played a bigger role than people might think.
Cohen revealed that after getting glammed up for the broadcast, he asked his co-host Anderson Cooper’s makeup artist to take things even further. “Warm me up a little bit,” he recalled saying. “Give me some more tanner.” The result? A look that sparked plenty of strong reactions online — not all of them flattering.
Beyond makeup and cosmetic tweaks, Cohen has been unusually open about his health journey. In September, he shared that he lost weight after micro-dosing a GLP-1 medication, explaining that staying silent about it wouldn’t feel right.
“Given that for 20 years I have been asking people about their body regimens,” he said, he felt it would be “completely hypocritical” not to be honest about using the weight-loss drug.
Cohen admitted he wasn’t happy with his weight and said the decision was tied to larger health concerns, including plaque in his arteries and high blood pressure. He described himself as being on “a pretty rigorous health journey,” combining diet, exercise, and medical guidance.
While the internet may continue to speculate about his face, Cohen seems perfectly comfortable owning the truth — even if the rumors are more dramatic than reality.
