Bronwyn Newport isn’t holding back on who she thinks needs to step aside for Season 7, and she’s making her pick loud and clear.
After wrapping up a tense Season 6 and its reunion, she shared who she believes brought the least to the table, and who she’d cut if she had the power.
According to Bronwyn, the Housewife who should be sidelined next season is Meredith Marks. In her words, Meredith simply didn’t deliver compared to the rest of the cast. “Going into next season, I might bench Meredith,” Bronwyn confessed. “I think we saw more from everyone else this season, like personal, home life, I like that.”
Her comment came during the Reality Hot Seat NFL crossover, where Justin Sylvester asked her who she’d “bench” ahead of Season 7. The football analogies were heavy, but Newport treated it like a real casting question — and apparently, the room agreed.

Heather Gay, who was offering commentary alongside Boston Rob Mariano, backed Bronwyn instantly. Not only did she support Bronwyn’s take, she revealed Rob did too. Heather added, “Rob mentioned that, and I thought, ‘Good take. We’ll talk later.’’’
With both Heather and Rob co-signing Bronwyn’s pick, it’s clear Meredith’s position isn’t as secure as some may think. Season 7 might be getting its first hint of who’s on the chopping block.
