Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville is finally sharing some hopeful news after years of battling mysterious and debilitating health issues.
The fan-favorite alum opened up during a December 5 conversation with TMZ, where she revealed that she has finally received a diagnosis after a long and painful journey.
When the interviewer complimented her and asked how she was doing, Glanville explained, “Thank you. The update is I do finally have a diagnosis, and I will be sharing that soon.” She added that despite everything she’s endured, “I have a long road ahead of me to get fully better, but I finally have an answer, so I’m just thrilled.”
Glanville didn’t sugarcoat the struggle it took to get here. When asked what the process has been like, she responded bluntly: “It’s been hell.”
The former RHOBH star revealed that her health battle has completely changed her life, admitting that she’s “turned into an introvert” and has “pretty much been in [her] house for two years.” She shared that she received her official diagnosis “yesterday,” marking what she hopes is the beginning of a real path forward.
Even with a diagnosis, Glanville said she’s still facing major challenges day-to-day. She explained that she often sits down and physically cannot get up. She also bravely revealed the emotional toll the illness has taken, sharing that she had moments where she thought, “I don’t want to live this life.” She added, “So, I had those thoughts, which were really frightening because I’ve never been like that. I never thought of not wanting to be here.”
This isn’t the first time Brandi Glanville has opened up about the severity of her health issues. Just last month, she spoke to Us Weekly about her long battle with what she believed was a parasite, saying, “It’s been a slow process, but I’m finally getting back to my normal routine and feeling like myself again.”
While she isn’t sharing the full diagnosis yet, Glanville made it clear she’s holding onto hope after finally getting answers. Fans who have watched her struggle from afar can expect more updates soon as she continues her fight to fully recover.
