Kyle Richards Buys a New Home but Refuses to Reveal the Location as She Expands Her Real Estate Empire

Kyle Richards is adding yet another property to her already impressive portfolio — but this time, she’s keeping the location completely under wraps.

In a November 2025 chat with The Daily Dish, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star opened up about her newest purchase and her love of collecting homes.

“I just bought another home,” Kyle revealed, explaining that real estate is her investment of choice. “You know, people do stocks. They do other investments. Like, real estate is what I love. I’m very passionate about it. It’s the first thing I do when I wake up in the morning. People think I am looking through my emails. No, I am looking at real estate all the time. I know every market of every state you could imagine.”

Kyle and estranged husband Mauricio Umansky — whom she separated from in 2023 — already share multiple properties, including their main Encino family home, a vacation home in Palm Springs, and their longtime getaway in Aspen.

Interestingly, it was just earlier this year that Kyle hinted she wanted to ditch the spotlight altogether.
“I’ve been telling my friends lately, that’s it, I’m moving to a farm. I am going off the grid,” she told DailyMail.com in May. “It’s so toxic, it’s so negative. I can’t stand it. I’m going to live off the land. I don’t want to go on any social media.”

But despite the off-grid dream — and despite Maurcio owning a major real estate brokerage — Kyle says none of their current homes are hitting the market anytime soon.
“You know, Mau and I have talked, and we don’t want to sell any of our homes,” she confirmed to The Daily Dish.

One thing Kyle does need, no matter where she ends up living: space. Lots of it. The mom of four previously told fans during an Amazon Live that staying put after her separation was more about practicality than anything else.
“I’m still in my house, I have too many dogs to go anywhere else. I’m still here,” she said in 2024.

And when it comes to their $8 million Encino home — the one she spent years renovating to perfection — Kyle isn’t letting that one go, either. In an interview with BravoTV.com, she shared she may hang onto it forever.
“Even if I move one day to, like Aspen, Colorado, I’ll keep it for my kids or something,” she revealed.

Kyle may be buying new real estate, dreaming of farm life, and navigating her new chapter post-Mauricio — but one thing is clear: she’s not letting go of the houses she’s poured her heart (and cash) into anytime soon.

She really doesn’t want to abandon toxicity and negativity, it’s the reason she has her lifestyle and real estate portfolio.

She wasn't exactly raised in stability and normalcy, so I don't think she knows any other life.

Lol anyone can look it up. She would not have said anything if she didn't want it known. I hope one day she grows up

Meh, good for her I reckon…? I still say this divorce is a big, fat, blubbery mistake, but I don’t know these people; so not my monkey, not my circus. Whatevs. ?

When the show started, Kyle and Mau really didn't have that much money. Now they are filthy rich but it cost them their marriage. If given the choice, I wonder if they would go back in time and choose the simple life together.

They really have come a long way. I never realized that this is the same house (from season 1) that they apparently renovated. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/05615bc8465ab93113fb6bf77182dade895be0dc5709a7028d25f08f2d9c78b0.png

I remember Kyle discussing having another baby and she said that Mau was maybe open to it depending on what the Amex bill was that month. She also said one time they met their daughter on a connecting flight in Europe and they never had been able to travel like that before. It was just road trips with the family that included a lot of camping gear. Kyle said a few times that the house they left with the white picket fence was her happy place. It was like an omen of what was to come.

It is sad. Being a Capricorn, Kyle approaches love and commitment with a sense of duty and hard work, valuing stability and a partner who is equally dedicated. Her loyalty is unwavering, but Goats do expect the same level of commitment and responsibility in return, and are quite capable of washing their hands. But having said that, I think Kyle would take Moe back in a heartbeat.

ITA. When you share such a history, and start entering the twilight of your life after investing so many decades in each other, like who the heck wants to start all over again? Moe (and men in general) never seem to know that one day they're going to realize that their D's are no longer controlling their lives, and then where are they going to be?

Kudos on the new secret home. If I had her money I would buy more vacay homes as well.

I don't know where people find the time (or energy) to maintain multiple homes. I have fambly members who do it, and it seems exhausting.

I can barely keep up with the home we occupy most.
AnEnigmaWrappedInSnark November 27, 2025 - 2:32 pm
Exactly, there is a reason why most people start to downsize and declutter their lives, and Kyle is fast approaching that age, not to mention she's presumably doing it alone.

Very expensive too

So true, and I think it's a misnomer that it's easier for very wealthy people, but it's not. More money and "things" always means more problems and hassles, because as we all know, the world has changed and you really can't rely on anyone for even the simplest things.
